We ordered spaghetti and wagyu meatballs and pesto chicken radiatori. Serving is big, the sauce is a decent amount and doesnt leave your pasta dry, lots of chicken breast (just the way i like it), the 3pcs of meatballs were just the right size. Pasta noodles are cooked al dente. The ambiance is nice, not to loud music. They have dim lights but not too low that you cant see your food. We arrived around 5pm and was seated within a minute. Personally, we would have prefered some items to go with the pasta like garlic toast.

We ordered 2 pastas, they came with big portions. The spaghetti Wagyu beef ball was good. However, the Moroccan chicken rigatoni was tasteless and the rigatoni wasn’t fully cooked. I had to add salt a lot so it’s edible.

Our first time here. We are glad we tried it. Service was great. Food was awesome. The calamari though might have been too crispy for our liking. Their kids portion size was big for my little one, so maybe for someone not so hungry, maybe ask if you can have that instead (comes with drinks). We also enjoyed their feature sandwich for the month. Their Lot 1 salad was great.

Ordered the 2 for 1 bolognese on doordash. Wow, what a disappointment. Overcooked, bland, dry pasta, and very little sauce with next to nothing for meat. Neither of us finished the dish because it was so awful.
I’ve eaten in house and have ordered takeout before without any issues. But I wouldn’t recommend the 2 for 1 deals. And I won’t be ordering or visiting this establishment in the future.

Some of the best pasta we’ve ever had. The pesto chicken pasta was creamy and rich and the chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. On the other hand, the feature pasta had a wonderful mix of refreshing and umami ingredients that made it taste better with every bite. The pasta was slightly undercooked, which suited our preference but might not be for everyone. The wagyu meatballs were also a nice appetizer, but the portion was a bit too small for our liking. Overall service and atmosphere were nice and food was excellent. Will definitely come again the next time we visit Victoria!

Excellent food, I had the scallops and prawn pasta. Beautiful place but terrible service. There was hardly anyone there so they can’t have been that busy. There was a handful of people there that the service was atrocious.

It was a birthday celebration. My family gathered and enjoyed the energy of the space. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it delicious. Dessert was a brownie. The service was amazing, very attentive. My only complaint were the children from other parties coming up to the table to watch me eat. That was weird…

A huge shoutout to Abby for her outstanding service. She was warm, polite, and incredibly attentive, truly excellent at what she does. Great food combined with such amazing service makes the whole experience memorable and definitely gives us every reason to come back.

We were excited to try Lot 1 Pasta Bar and things started off well—drinks came quickly, the vibe was good, and we were ready for a great night out.
But then we noticed a few things that soured the mood. Tables around us—same group size, same kind of guests—were given complimentary polenta bites. We weren’t. They were also offered fresh cracked pepper with their meals. Again, we weren’t. The only difference we could see? We were the youngest table in the area. It left us and others in our group feeling a little sidelined.
That said, the appetizers were fantastic. Garlic parmesan breadsticks were spot-on, the pork belly bites were crispy and packed with flavor, and the suppli was perfectly gooey with a great cheese-to-crunch ratio.
The main course let us down. We both had the spaghetti with wagyu meatballs. The meatballs were well-seasoned, but the pasta was undercooked—too hard to enjoy—and the sauce lacked punch. A place that puts “pasta” in the name should be nailing the basics, and this missed the mark.
Service felt inconsistent, and the overall experience didn’t live up to the price point or the early promise. Lot 1 has potential, but we left more disappointed than satisfied.

Had a great lunch visit at lot 1 today. Our service was great, and the manager Kiara came by to make sure everything was up standards. Had the prawn and scallop linguine, and the polenta bites were a nice touch. Will come back! Kiara deserves a raise for exceptional service 🙂
