I bought two roast beef sandwiches that were supposed to be tomato pesto and it was spaghetti sauce, the roast beef was well past its time and the cheddar was straight yellow cheese.
This was extremely disappointing and ended in the trash.

If you find yourself in Marble Falls with a few minutes to spare, you ABSOLUTELY MUST try Lost Roads! These people know how to knock it outta the park with everything they do, and it shows from the second you walk in! The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet with a smile, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the store is kept beautiful and clean at all times. This is the only spot I go to for lunch now, and I advise you do the same!

1 ordered cookies for a funeral. They were ready at the agreed pick up time and, more importantly, they were just beautiful, a butter cream frosting in a rose pattern on round sugar cookies. In addition, they helped load the boxes in my car! It is worth visiting this hidden gem!

I came here specifically for the sourdough bread. They had a full rack on display and fortunately, I have come late enough that it was okay to have sliced.

The short is the sourdough bread was just okay. I find almost all sourdough bread in TX seems to be undercooked and I’m not sure why. And all the sourdough I have experienced in TX has a different flavor than traditional sourdough bread. It also seems quite heavier than a traditional sourdough.

I did ask for it be sliced but the slices were incredibly thick. Easily twice the width of a normal slice of bread. Given the heaviness of this bread and seemingly undercooked that thickness is not ideal. I have certainly had thick sourdough slices before, but those were traditional, cooked and lighter. Maybe the person could have changed the thickness but it wasn’t offered.

Lastly, when checking out… I was charged 3% for using a credit card. I was informed beforehand and it is displayed… but this doesn’t make it okay. As a business owner myself, I know I can deduct bank charges for using a credit card. So, you are charging me 3% and you are taking a deduction from taxes. But to top it off… after charging me 3% more… the server wanted me to provide a tip! Oh, sorry… she just said “the screen is going to ask you a question”. What question? Why don’t you just come right out and say “I want a tip”? But tip for what? And it’s $11 for a loaf of bread.

We ordered Sugar Cookies for a Bachelorette Party and they turned out so cute! The flavor and texture were delicious! The owner called and said they don’t typically do cut out sugar cookies but I am so glad I stuck with them and trusted them!

Stumbled upon this place looking for a couple of pies for Thanksgiving. Picked up the pies Thanksgiving day early which was very helpful for my schedule. The process was great and the pies were AMAZING and priced far below other competitors. While waiting the staff were very friendly. I’m planning on regular visits

Passed through this town and found this bakery. Clerk was with another customer. She didn’t acknowledge us until we proceeded to leave. Cookies were $4.50 each. Just a normal sized cookie with frosting on it. Overpriced !

We dropped by to pick up chocolate eclairs because they are world-renowned and excellent. But you know, that can’t happen without other items… The eclairs, a sourdough bread, a jalapeno cheese bread. But of course they had just made a fresh pot of coffee and well the blueberry lemon roll look delicious and so did the spinach feta croissant so we stayed and had breakfast.
And to say the food is excellent is one thing yet there employees are their greatest asset.
