First time trying this spot out! We were very pleased to have come here… my family and I wanted to try a new sopt in Westminster and decided to land on LOST LION
We loved the aesthetic, our waitress was amazing, I loved their menu choices. This is definitely a “bar scene” but my kids were very much welcomed and accommodated.
The “scooby snacks” (chicken tenders) are a must…. they had no business being that good!
I started with an old fashioned but was very much impressed with their wine selection!
We will definitely be back! Especially for the wine!

The restaurant is small but that’s the only small thing about this place. The service is so attentive and fun. Our server was Brayden, she was fantastic. The food is fabulous. The Crab quesadilla was delicious. The southern salmon was divine. The velvety sauce was extraordinary. The shrimp were perfection. The drinks are amazing and unique. The Corpse reviver is my new obsession. The burgers and fries are great, their smash burger sauce has a kick. Dessert shines. The cakes are amazing, airy, flavorful and light. Not dense or heavy. My visit was amazing and I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing food, and deserts. Among my favs, Smash Burger, Hot Chicken sandwich, and meatloaf. For apps, when they have them, crab egg rolls, and for desert they are all amazing but the Boston Crème is my fave. If you haven’t been, it’s a must try.

Tried Lost Lion in Westminster for the first time last night and was really impressed. It’s got that perfect laid-back pub vibe — cozy atmosphere, great drink selection, and friendly staff.
We ordered the Spicy Grilled Shrimp, Mr. Miyagi tacos, and finished with the bread pudding, which was awesome — warm, rich, and easily the highlight of the night. The food had that elevated pub-style comfort feel — flavorful, fresh, and satisfying.
Our waiter was a lot of fun to joke around with and really added to the relaxed, upbeat feel of the night.
Overall, it’s the kind of spot that feels easy to hang out in, grab a few drinks, and have a great meal without any pretense. We’ll definitely be back.

First time here but it won’t be last!! delicious food and great service. We were greeted right away and our waitress was super helpful. She suggested we pick something from their daily specials menu as everything on there was made by the chef. The food was amazing and the flavors were so creative, we couldn’t decide what to pick and kept ordering more items. Highly recommend the shrimp grilled cheese, phyllo dough pizza and the Cajun Rockfish.

A true gem in Westminster! Classic cocktails done VERY well, along with delicious food in a cozy spot. Loved the Scooby Snacks and the double smash burger, and the seasonal salmon BLT with pesto mayo was absolutely incredible. I purposely kept myself from the taco selection just so I could dive in to those on our return trip! So many great flavors, fantastic attentive service, along with a great atmosphere, couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend Lost Lion!

Recommend trying this great restaurant in downtown Westminster! Our party of 5 went for the first time on Tuesday night & the place was very busy. Their menu is not extensive but offers some unique dishes & flavor combinations. Our server Carla was excellent, very attentive & friendly! We had the grilled cheese poppers (must try!), roasted mushroom flatbread (perfection!), 16 oz. Steak, fried cod fish tacos, coconut shrimp tacos, burgers, berry smash & champagne mojito. We waited a little while for entrees but that was to be expected since they were busy. Everything was very good, presented well, & drinks are freshly made, not overly sweet. The manager came by to check on us & was very friendly & welcoming also. The only downfall we experienced is that due to the smaller size of the restaurant, the volume of noise from a full restaurant of patrons is very loud & makes it hard to converse with your party without feeling like you have to yell or repeat yourself. They do offer a quieter, cute outdoor seating area but it was raining so that wasn’t an option for us. Would definitely recommend visiting Lost Lion & will personally return to support local!

Lost Lion is a favorite of ours, and we not only frequently visit for date night but recommend it often as a fantastic local option with delicious food and impeccable service. We like supporting local businesses in the community. The cocktails always hit the spot, and the food never disappoints. Love the cozy ambience and always-rotating menu. We had a wonderful time during our most recent visit and our server, Jack, was top-notch; however, we were disappointed when we were asked by management to leave our table to free it up after about 15 minutes of lingering and chatting quietly (no alcohol involved) after paying our check, especially since there was another table available, no guests were waiting to be seated, and it was not close to closing. This didn’t mesh with our other experiences at Lost Lion, but was a jarring way to end an otherwise pleasant evening and left a somewhat bad taste in our mouths.

We stopped in here on the recommendation of a family member. It’s been a long time since we visited the area, so we figured we would give it a try, and to our surprise the Lost Lion is a diamond in the rough! WOW, what an amazing experience and the food is exceptional. It’s situated behind a retail complex on Main St in downtown Westminster, so don’t rely on your GPS to get you there. The entrance is on the back of the building, but their signage made it easy to locate. There is ample parking directly adjacent to the restaurant, which is nice because on-street parking in Westminster can be an issue at times.
The best way to describe the Lost Lion is “cozy”. It’s a quaint space with outdoor seating for warm weather months, which we definitely look forward to this summer. The menu is very eclectic and not what we expected. The appetizer portions are very generous, so plan accordingly when ordering. We had the Meatballs, Scooby Snacks, Grilled Cheese Popper and oysters. Apparently, the menu changes based on the season so be prepared for specials throughout the year. The meatballs are the size of a lacrosse ball and very filling, and the Grilled Cheese Popper was a meal in itself. Our entrees were tuna tacos, grilled chicken arugula salad, and burgers. All of them were amazing and worth every penny. One thing to note – the meals are prepared “as is”, so there are no substitutions or special orders. Normally, I tend to shy away from establishments like this, but the chef here knows what he is doing because all the meals were prepared to perfection.
The most impressive thing about the Lost Lion was the selection of bourbon they offered. If you are a bourbon drinker, you will find one of the best selections of bourbon in the area. I have been to four and five star restaurants that didn’t have the selection the Lost Lion offered. I was shocked at the diversity of brands they stocked, so if you like bourbon, you are going to love this place!
The service in smaller establishments is always an issue, but the staff at the Lost Lion was the best I’ve experienced in a long time. Every beverage was refreshed regularly, food orders were prepared in a timely manner and the table was cleared after each course. There isn’t much more you can ask for from a staff and you can tell they are very experienced in the hospitality industry. More importantly, everyone was so friendly!!!
Apparently, this location has gained a large following recently, so call ahead for reservations. Make sure to put this on your “Hit List”, it’s well worth it.
