definition of mid food. dry is a great descriptor: dry burger meat, dried cheese on nachos, dry bbq.
incredible service though. our server checked in often even though the place was packed.
atmosphere is sterile, wannabe rural with bass pro shop decor and pop country music videos on the TVs. couple sport and news channels. massive space. i guess it kinda embodies the character of New Hampshire exurbs.
beer was good.

Went here Saturday around 4pm. It has an amazing vibe. There were 4 in our party and we all got the BBQ platter. Food was great. Server Nula was attentive. Definitely would return

Got the brisket with sweet potato fries (not seen in the pic) for dinner. Shared bacon burnt ends & buffalo cauliflower as apps. Everything was just excellently amazing. Staff was great, we stayed and chatted a bit after dinner & were not made to feel like we needed to leave which was really nice. Always end up bringing home at least enough for tomorrow’s lunch, if not dinner, which is a bonus.

From the start I hate the decor and theme, I escaped Texas for a reason, but that’s not The Lost a cowboys fault. I was led here on the promise that they serve a tasty burger(cue Sam Jackson). If you like cowboy shit, this is the place for you.
There lots of seating and plenty of western themed decor to fill your old west hearts desire. Moving on.
The beer is stellar, especially the Road to the Sun Grapefruit IPA. It was like biting into an alcoholic ripe grapefruit. Hi we also tried the American lager, the Pilsner, and the Harrell racer. All were fantastic, you can’t go wrong with their brews.
The food, however, left something to be desired. That something was seasoning. The chicken tenders had a great cook, but the breading was kinda bland. The tangy sauce was delightful though.
I went with the Cowboy burger but was left disappointed. The cook and presentation were both fantastic, it all held together great and the cook was spot on. But for $22 I expected more flavor than whatever the fry sauce could muster. I guess it’s my fault for ordering a burger that had an onion ring and an avocado topping lacked as “cowboy”. I just wish I got a bit more avocado but that’s asking a lot in this economy.
The fries were perfect and the service was phenomenal. I just didn’t quite enjoy the food as much as it was recommended. I’ll give this place another shot and go for their BBQ options, but coming from texas I have a high bar for what’s considered good.
Maybe next time Lost Cowboy, this dinner wasn’t quite a hit. You get a Pat on the back.

My last meal in New Hampshire as well as being new to the state & area. Was reccomended this place by a co-worker and this place is pretty good!
The only things that didn’t make this experience great was a delay in my order & the lack of a beer option that I wanted. Food was good when I did get it.

I felt like I was back in Tennessee! The BBQ was fantastic. I ordered the brisket which came with house pickles, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and corn bread. The brisket was cooked to perfection very flavorful and well sauced/seasoned. I love love love a good cucumber salad and the house pickles exceeded that expectation. The Mac & cheese was saucy and had a nice crisp on top. The service was 10/10. It was very busy when we went so we decided to sit at the bar. We received waters and our drink orders were taken immediately. The food came out quick. Loved that all of the bartenders were helping each other. The bar has a crazy amount of whiskeys! I ordered an amaretto sour , the restaurant doesn’t have pre made sour mix but the bartender made one from scratch and I don’t think I’ll enjoy another Amaretto sour with pre made mix again. We will deff be back and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Western style atmosphere. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean. Very spacious seating area and a beautiful bar. They have a beautiful fire place and a game corner with a view of the Brewery instruments. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. They have a great staff of workers and great merchandise including apparel, stickers and more.

This establishment is well designed and built to match the western theme. All the staff were friendly and there was adaquete seating even on a busy night. Beer was amazing as expected from a place that is a brewery. Unfortunately, the food is very overpriced for it’s mediocre taste and the dessert was 13 dollars for a small 4 inch burnt cookie skillet with fake goopey ice cream on top. I will definitely go back for the drinks and amazing whiskey selection.

What a great restaurant! We loved the western theme and the BBQ was really good! We had to wait 30min but the waiting area was inviting with low couches and leather chairs accented with cowhide rugs and pillows. The service was excellent- we always had a cocktail, soda or water. The nachos with brisket and sweet street corn were amazing and the burnt ends over cornbread were a nice start to dinner! Our party of 5 all loved our dinners- chicken and waffles were crunchy and flavorful, the half cowboy platter did not disappoint!! The burgers were perfect medium rare and the brisket tacos were delicious!! We have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!! Fun restaurant- loved the huge American flag behind the gigantic bar! We will definitely be back soon!

Ive been meaning to try this new Amherst St restaurant for a while. Dined with a party of three on 5/6/25 for an early dinner. Building is beautifully renovated, super clean and well decorated. HUGE bar and floor plan – the staff gets their steps in. Now way you’d ever get bad service here, there were dozens of employees patrolling and managers checking in.
Food was excellent and worth every penny. Pictured is the prime rib sandwich, nachos, cauliflower tacos, Mac-n-Chz and country fried pork chop. They’ve got the seasoning down and everything was flavorful and perfectly executed. Lost Cowboy house brewed beers were also good and their whiskey list is impressive.
I nicked the atmosphere because it’s a touch loud when seated in the middle floor tables.
Will definitely go back soon and you should try it too!
