First time we were there was amazing! We got a spot up at the bar. The margaritas were excellent! Chips, homemade guacamole and queso dip so yummy!!! Our entrees were delicious as well! It’s in Elk but 100% worth the drive! Staff was also great! Thank you Hector!

Excellent portions for the price.
I would be willing to go as far to say you get more food for your price than in Spokane, Washington. Friendly staff quick to make sure you have everything you need.

Within five minutes we had our meal very hot delicious and flavorful.

One last thing I guess I’m kind of weird when it comes to this, but I also check the bathroom very clean.

Our first visit here. Came with some great reviews from friends so we took the drive. It was absolutely worth the drive from town! I had one of each of the street tacos. My wife had the “small” plate of nachos.
The nachos had to have a pound of meat on them. Along with copious amounts of cheese, sour cream and guacamole(more on that later)
The street tacos were packed with meat, more than anywhere else puts on them. And the flavor was spot on. The pork tacos were amazing, don’t shy away from those!
The guacamole was literally the best I have had in my life. Soooo amazing! Absolutely order it when they bring you chips and salsa. You won’t regret it.
And the staff, absolutely so friendly and positive. Great attentive service, you walk in and feel like family at a party!

Food was good but way to much sour cream in Pollo a la creama. My drink was excellent. The staff was always checking in on you. Very polite but one Hispanic female ignored multiple groups.

I drive by Los Tres Potrillos often and decided to stop by for a taco salad to go. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and upon entering, the person at the counter greeted me cheerfully and took my order. It was ready in a timely fashion and while it lacked a utensil, the salad was crunchy and delicious. It came with a bag of chips and two small containers of salsa, one of which I used to dress the salad. Worth the stop and I look forward to trying more of Los Tres Potrillos’ menu soon.

Hector is a great owner. He was very attentive to every customer that came in. The food was great as well as the service. Process were comparable to other Mexican restaurants. The portions are big. You will not go home hungry.

An honest review:
The GOOD- food tasted amazing, plates were huge and we had to take the rest home. The drinks were delicious, and the huckleberry margaritas were cold and strong. The strawberry lemonade was great and looked hand mixed. It seemed to be operated by a hard working, friendly family that cared about their guests.
The BAD- seeing a buzzed tweaker and a drunk guy loudly making phone calls for pills sitting at the bar as we enter made a bad first impression. No respectful family wants to see or hear that when they go out to eat. But I can’t blame the owner for who visits the bar. There was no where to sit while waiting to be seated. It was quite loud, and difficult to have a conversation. The acoustics of the room made voices carry.
But despite the bad, this place has real potential for success! I’m sure once they build revenue and can make improvements, it’s going to be much more family friendly and fun to visit. The positive energy and great attitude from them shows, and we will be visiting often!
I will be recommending this to friends and neighbors.

Cute spot but understaffed. Good fajitas and I love the cabbage salsa! Super refreshing strawberry lemonade , I really enjoy this spot! We needed something in the middle of Spokane and the outlying areas!

I was born and raised in California, once I left it was hard to find good Mexican food especially the further north you went. Los Tres Potrillos took me right back to my favorite spots with their amazing freshly made food! Their salsa’s are fantastic with all the tasting notes and heat you would expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant. Ask for Hector’s special salsa, it’s SOOOO Good! The service is on level with that of a fine dining establishments. Can’t wait to come back!
