Standard Mexican in the city square. Chips and salsa were good. Chori pollo was good. Price was excellent. Plate of rice and queso for a kid was $4. Other Mexican places try to charge us$7-8 for a plate of cheesy rice.

Grabbed dinner while on a work trip at one of very many Mexican restaurants in the area. Like a lot of Mexican restaurants, this one has an extensive menu, but it wasn’t just various combinations of the same things. There were plenty of more unique dishes, and what stuck out to me was the tongue tacos. I don’t live where these are commonly offered, so my decision-making stopped there. I ordered 2 tongue (lengua) tacos and a beef intestine (tripa) taco. They came hot on double tortillas, a red and green sauce with just the right amount of spice, a lime wedge for each taco, and plenty of chopped onion and cilantro. The lengua in particular was divine. I honestly forgot to ask my colleague how their food was, because I was too engrossed in mine. Service here was speedy and efficient, although there weren’t many people when we went around 5pm on a Tuesday night. Highly recommended for the food and service.

I’ve ate at many different Mexican restaurants and this one by far is the best place I’ve ever been! The food was fantastic I usually drench my food in cheese and haven’t had to once here!! You guys now have a new returning customer!!

This is the old Los Mariachis Mexican restaurant. The food was good; it’s better under the new ownership. We go to Los Tres once or twice a week.
