My son brought me here as a surprise. I was so impressed that I brought my guests who came from out of town. The food is so flavorful. It gets the chefs kiss! (Está para chuparse los dedos.) Our waitress Alexa was kind and attentive. She gets ten stars! The vibe and music is so cheerful! I gotta come back. This is my new favorite.

My wife and I had a nice dinner here after we survived Hurricane Helene’s wrath on our Coffee County neighborhood. This is an unassuming taqueria reminiscent of ones I enjoyed in Houston, Texas as a young adult. I ordered chicken enchiladas with Spanish rice and my wife had a generous serving of chicken fajitas with rice and beans. The enchiladas had a tasty red sauce and were sprinkled with Mexican white cheese, but more sauce would have made the food less dry. The fajitas were served with hot corn tortillas and were a good choice. The food prices were reasonable and the other customers were all Latinos, so it was fun to feel like we were in Mexican village in downtown Douglas. We’ll be back to try the soups and tacos that others around us enjoyed.

This place is awesome. The food is excellent. Portions are nice size. Best salsa and home made chips in town. Staff is super friendly.

Authentic flavor. It’s homemade and definitely a more refined flavor than most local Mexican restaurants. It isn’t the typical oversalted, over spiced stuff that has unfortunately torched and ruined so many local pallettes. It is far from bland. I’ve eaten some of the best Mexican food, all the way to the west. This is right at the top. It’s Upscale maybe, but definitely true Mexican, not tex-Mexican we get around here, and the flavor is layered. Unfortunately, the people claiming it is bland have not experienced authentic Mexican but only know TexMex americanized food. Price is reasonable, but not cheap. Servings are huge though. Desserts are the best I’ve had anywhere.
More than just Tacos. The food is beautifully presented. It looks just like ( if not better than ) a beauty shot picture. Flavor is amazing and layered. Try the chicken/pollo Asada. The place is spotless and service was flawless.

As an update: We returned late one evening on the way through town to eat. Same waitress. Same friendly initial service. I ordered the 1/2 chicken Amado, the same I had before. It was poorly cut up and missing a piece. It was dry. I told the waitress and she blamed it on their supplier for being cut that way as they copled it right through the bones shattering them and commented she didn’t know anything about chicken parts. HOW do you not know what a chicken thigh was? Additionally the previously well balanced beautiful salad was nothing carrot strips and tomatoes with a couple of pieces of greenery layered in. They replaced the chicken eventually. It was juicy and correct. But it had a slight rewarmed flavor. It was good but nearly as good as my first time. My wifes and daughter food was still excellent. I told the waitress that having been in both her shoes and the cooks before, I simply would not have served it if it wasn’t presentable. I know it was late but well before closing, but it doesn’t matter and not a reason to serve unpresentable food. We’ll definitely eat there again. Not going to change my star rating unless it happens again. Everyone has an off night. But don’t blame badly chopped up chicken on our food supplier and don’t sell 1/3 chicken for a half. For the record, it’s small young chicken…so it’s not as big as it sounds.

Food is so bland it’s unreal . And super greasy. We told the waitress that it was Bland did not offer any compensations or remake or discount and also told her it was our first time there you would think they want return customers. The tea was not fresh the horchata taste like water sour cream was like milk and flaverless. And the chips and salsa also very bland. Will not return . Nice waitress tho . She did her job .

Rudest waitress ever. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been wiped off, there was literally a pool of salsa in front of me. I asked the waitress to please wipe the table off. She rolled her eyes and turned on her heel and marched off. Came back a couple of minutes later and wiped a spot about as big as a dinner plate and stormed away obviously very upset. I’m like whatever, we got up and left. Bye Felicia.
