it was good food, great portion sizes and the price is awesome for downtown slc. it was a bit cold in the restaurant cause it was freezing outside and the very time to door opens it cools down the whole place. good amount of seating, and the salsa bar is open which is so nice. horchata is delicious

Seems like they don’t use the best ingredients, there were big empty boxes of instant ramen, and cheap oil in a garbage can in the dining room. Microwaves beeping in the kitchen. Nice location, I was definitely disappointed as I wanted to really like it.

Los Tapatios has my favorite Birria Tacos in SLC. Their green avocado sauce may be the best I’ve ever had. It’s got a nice kick to it. I also enjoy their other salsa bar offerings.

Just tried this place out tonight and it was fantastic. I asked Alejandro to help me out with the menu and pretty much ordered half the menu after hearing how good everything was. I mean… I’m beyond full, but it was worth it!!!
Even better… they are open until 3am!!! It’s so hard to find good food after 9pm, even harder until midnight, and impossible after 1pm. I was designated driver and this hit the spot massively

I came to this Mexican restaurant to try their birria tacos, and I love them. They were not as dried and crispy as I like them. The green sauce is really spicy, so watch out. The only disadvantage is the difficulty in finding parking in this area.

Awesome clean Mexican spot after a night out, before, or during!! Hell this place is next to all the fun downtown in Salt Lake. Great Birria tacos, Mexican sandwiches, and soup (consome). Great service and atmosphere. I guess you can tell how much I love this restaurant. I recommend Birria tacos for sure.
