We were seated quickly even on a busy night and received chips and salsa almost immediately after we sat down. Our waitress was great and fixed every problem we had. The food is well seasoned and flavorful, nice portions, and reasonably priced. I like the new interior, even though it smells a bit like B.O.

Here on Business at AFB, from Texas (El Valle). Place is VERY clean, good service and comfortable atmopshere. Chips of crunchy and salas was good (not spicey at all, mostly tomoato/dash of spice). Water is very filter and great!!! I had a Mango Margarita in rocks, flavor was ok, the tequila is different (compair to others i’ve tasted), BUT it will creep up on you for sure, lol. dont let the taste fool you. So many to choice from, they recommended the Carnita plate, very good perfect carnitas (i was impressed, coming from El Valle), rice was good, beans (50/50) i love beans but just wasnt for me, flour tortillas was what we call cooked over fire stove (perfect, not many places do that). If Inwas asked “will you visit again?” I would certianly will but with a co-worker to try El Cojete next time.

Covid19 Pickup order
We got a number of dishes to try.
Their pickup was simple and easy. Very convenient.
We wanted a variety of items so we ordered the following:
Mazatlan Combo $12.99: 4
It came with shrimp and crab quesadilla and shrimp and crab enchilada.
Please note, the crab is imitation crab meat. Makes sense for that price. The shrimp is great, the polluck ok. The prices is good, but I’m not sure if I’d order it again. If you like a lot of polluck though, this is good. The quesadilla was stuffed with it.
Burrito Carne Asada $10.99: 5
This was our favorite dish. The carne asada meat was done very well. Would recommend!
Tamale Deluxe $9.99: 4
-1 tamale and 2 chicken flautas (You have a choice of beef or chicken, we went with chicken)
Mixed reactions to this. With the sauce from the nachos the flautas were much better as we found them a touch dry. This is also a dish that doesn’t save well unless you have an air fryer or something. Microwaving the nachos not so good.
Small tortilla soup $3.99: 3
-We all agreed it felt like it was missing a little something. I had the top of the soup which was very oily as well. It was decently salty. So if you like that, then its great. I was impressed with how piping hot it was.
Los tapitos special Fajitas $15.99: 5
Very generous amounts of meat
We were surprised that we only got 3 pieces of tortilla though because the amount of fajita filling is a LOT. For takeout it wasn’t as good as if we had it fresh. I can imagine that it would be phenomenal to have it in the restaurant. Takeout its actually more a 4, but the quality is there.
Service was a 5 . We were offered our food with friendly conversation and big smiles.
Its a place I will definitely go to again. Would like to try the rest of the menu.
Parking is very convenient as they are in the twin creek plaza with a lot of space.

NOT GOOD FOR BIG GROUPS! Not good if you come with more than 4 people at a time, small place we came with 2 adults and 4 kids it took a long time to get seated. They were able to accommodate smaller groups faster. They dont take reservations but an older couple came in stating they had a “reservation” and sat them right away because they were mad. Food is very Americanized most dishes are with chicken or ground beef. They do have carne asada but it’s $2 extra per taco on the kids menu.

I got the Grilled Chicken Enchiladas with the Salsa Verde, Pico De Gallo, and Sour Cream. Chips and Salsa with a Dos Equis Amber. Jared was my Sever. The food was delicious and Jared was truly amazing as I watched him seat customers, take their orders, serve them, cash them out, and then bus their tables. I surely will be back ans ask for him to be my waiter.

This is absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant! So many food options and everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Margaritas on point and they have so many flavors! They have really reasonable prices and their staff is so kind. I seriously go here at least once a week, can’t recommend enough !

My family and I have ordered take out and dined-in a few times each. Every experience has been great! The servers are very friendly, service is fast, restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious!!! They pack to-go orders nicely, and servings are large. My husband and I split the fajitas Jalisco for 2 (beef, chicken, & shrimp). My boys love their burritos. Also, a huge perk…..you can order alcoholic drinks to go! I LOVE their frozen mango margaritas!!!
