With a Mexican restaurant going up on every corner, it’s hard to find the ones that try harder to give you a better experience. Los Robles takes the prize for going beyond. Here you get a nicer atmosphere, excellent food, and a manager that really cares about quality and service. The Carnitas and Chorizo items had incredible flavor and a delicious char. The house Margarita was good itself and not in need of an upgrade. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. Spacious inside with a nice bar and patio seating for summer. Pass the rest and support the best.

UNSAFE/BEWARE! Took too long for our orders to be taken, then the food came out in 5 minutes. We were shocked. The plate was so hot, but the food temp was Luke warm (microwave?) The ground meat tasted like it was made the day before..it had that taste (same for husband and daughter, but different meals) There is NO WAY this was cooked fresh! The beans were almost white and tasted like cardboard with a ton of salt. The shredded beef was luke warm and the cheese was not even melted. I never even got the side of cheese sauce they charged me for. Not sure what happened here, but the young man took my plate back to the kitchen and disappeared never to return. No apologies, no checking on the other meals…nothing. My husband had to go ask to talk to the manager when he paid the bill. They ended up removing 2/3 meals from the bill, but none were edible. Nice enough people I guess, zero customer service know how. I really wanted to love this place. I can’t say we will take another chance on getting sick though .

We went out to dinner for Cinco De Mayo and the wait was 45 minutes at another Mexican restaurant near by, so we decided to check out Los Robles. We only waited 5 minutes instead of 45 minutes which was fantastic. Service was very good considering it was a very busy night and our server was very nice young man who made our dining experience very pleasant. Our food came out fast and it was delicious. This is a small mom and pop restaurant which is what makes it special vs. big chain restaurants.

Went here for dinner, it was very nice. The atmosphere was good, they played authentic Mexican music. The food was great! It came very quickly to (considering it wasn’t busy).

Me and my husband tried the take out from ordering online. We got the three steak taco, rice and beans on side. The steak was absolutely dry and I had trouble swallowing it. I also got a tamale and it was super dry and over cooked, it was hard and so was the meat, It burnt. I got nachos with cheese, and literally could of made it at home with tortilla chips and cheese in a microwave. Just all around super disappointed! Expected a lot more then what I got! Just go to cilantro’s right down the street

The atmosphere was pleasant. Dark wood booths and a long bar with large TVs. We, a party of four, all ordered something different and ALL of it was delicious. Every dish was served hot. The fajitas were sizzling and the flavors were robust. The wait staff was very friendly. I don’t eat out often, but this was one of the best experiences my taste buds have had in a long time. I will definitely go again.

Went the other night and so glad we did. I have been really looking for good Mexican food and found it at what I think was a very good price. Service was quick, friendly and responsive. I found out when leaving it was the owners daughter. I stopped at the end and told the owner what a great meal we had. I had the steak fajitas and my girlfriend had the fish tacos. We will be back, no doubt.

Wanted to try a new restaurant so after reading the reviews we chose Los Robles. We had a party of 4.
The atmosphere: cute place and clean. There was only 2 other parties in the entire place.
The service: pleasant and attentive.
The food: horrible. The red sauce they smother the food with tasted like pasta sauce. Seriously, pasta sauce. The meat, chicken, ground beef and steak tasted old. The taco salad with grilled shrimp had lettuce, cheese and shrimp. The shrimp was just okay but there were a lot of them. The guacamole had a filler in it and not just mashed avocado. It was super runny and flavorless.
I can’t understand all of the good reviews. Go elsewhere.
