Had a really great experience at Kona Coffee District
The place has a cozy, relaxing vibe and a beautiful interior that makes it perfect to sit and enjoy your coffee
The coffee quality is good, rich, and well prepared, with a nice variety of drinks and pastries to choose from
Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to coffee lovers.
Thanks Lana for kind service and welcome ☕✨

Great chill coffee shop to give a try.

Inside is theme-decorated but still chill to the point where I could stick around for a while getting some work done, study or chat. They sell a couple of items you get on your trips to from Hawaii like the Honolulu Cookie Company shortbread cookies or the chocolate covered macadamias.

The staff are really friendly and helpful with suggestions for what they recommend and service is quick.

They have a pretty good sized menu with seasonal coffee options I definitely want to try like the tiramisu latte, and a decent sized cafe menu of breakfast and baked items. I got the island latte as I seem to be drawn to the coconut and macadamia lattes lately. I would’ve to go for the Spanish latte but I have a rule against cinnamon in lattes from past experiences (I know I could have probably ask for it without the cinnamon but I can’t lol). It was good! Very nicely balanced and mixed, good flavors, would get again.

Thanks!

Cozy, chill little spot for brekkie/lunch. Great craft coffee and interesting food options. Hawaiian/Euro/Japan fusion. Inside and outside seating. Baked goodies.

I’ve found a new favorite coffee spot in Lake Forest! Kona Coffee District exceeded all expectations with their exceptional offerings and atmosphere. Their mocha frappe is absolutely divine – rich, perfectly balanced, and admittedly decadent enough to qualify as a breakfast dessert (but who’s complaining?). Worth every calorie and perfect for treating yourself.

The interior is gorgeously designed with warm wood tones, comfortable seating, and tasteful Hawaiian-inspired decor that creates a relaxing atmosphere you’ll want to linger in. The ambiance is miles above your typical Starbucks – quieter, more sophisticated, and with actual character rather than corporate uniformity.

Special shout-out to Tristan who provided exceptional service. His kindness and attentiveness made the experience even better. He took time to explain their specialty drinks and even recommended the perfect pastry pairing.

If you’re tired of the same old chain coffee experience, do yourself a favor and visit Kona Coffee District. It’s refreshing to find a local spot that excels in both product quality and customer service!

I stopped here for a coffee and a bite while charging my car. I had the 100% Kona Private Reserve pour over and an avocado toast. The Kona Private Reserve was full of flavor and came with a biscotti cookie. It was a bit pricier than a typical pour over, but not too much given that it’s 100% Kona coffee. The avocado toast wowed me! The sourdough bread had a nice crisp, and the portion of the avocado was very generous. They drizzled something sweet (maybe honey or agave) on it with the chili flakes that added the perfect amount of flavor while still feeling healthy. I will make a point to stop at Kona Coffee District the next time I’m in town!

We ordered the Spanish Latte and it was a great choice, definitely recommend! It was $6.50 for the drink. The overall interior was calming and a great place to get some work done. I gave it 3 stars because the signature drinks were listed at the corner of the coffee shop and the server wasn’t very friendly and helpful when it came to describing some of the drinks.

This place is an absolute gem for coffee and brunch. I still can’t believe you can get a Spanish latte with this quality and flavor at this price — it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had. And the sourdough they use for the avocado toast? Truly the best of the best. Everything is fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. Highly recommend stopping by!
