Growing up in a small West Texas town, I was surrounded by some of the best Mexican food imaginable—treasured family recipes brought straight from Mexico by dear friends. So when I visited Los Reyes Mexican Grill on Lee Drive, I knew right away I had found something special. The first bite transported me back to my childhood at Wela and Welo’s table.
I ordered the ribeye steak—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned—served with fluffy rice and creamy refried beans. The three soft tacos, filled with flavorful ground beef, came with the same comforting sides, I demolished before taking the picture. A cup of rich, velvety queso and complimentary crisp chips rounded out my meal perfectly.
Yasmine and Ashley at the front counter were warm and welcoming, even taking the time to make my four-year-old laugh while we waited. I also had the pleasure of chatting with Manager Adam, whose passion for his staff and the food was clear. I edited this review, I forgot to thank the cooks!
I’d happily make the 45-minute drive for another plate. Los Reyes is more than just a restaurant—it’s a taste of home. Viva La México!

We decided to give this place a try after passing it many times. It was my daughter’s pick for her birthday dinner. An I must say it was delicious. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was very nice Overall it was a great night and a wonderful dinner! We will definitely be back!

We’ve been looking forward to seeing the new restaurant. Great ambiance with some lovely original murals and art. Completely renovated interior and exterior from the old place. Ordered large top shelf margaritas, which were excellent and well-balanced. Birria tacos were flavorful and sides were well prepared. Only small criticism is that menu doesn’t have much that is unique or that opens any windows into Mexican cuisine. However, our meal was top quality and fairly-priced. We will be back soon. #birria tacos

I have had lunch and dinner here and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone. The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic Mexican dishes, and every bite was a burst of flavor. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall fantastic dining experience. I can’t wait to return again and explore more of their delicious offerings!

Nothing to see here…
Festive and clean dining room, nice bar and patio.
However, the food was good, not great and the service was rather erratic.
Our server was nice, but seemed to be hurried and nowhere to be found half of the time.
I was really hopeful, reading the nice reviews of their new restaurant, but they still need some work.
The chips & salsa were nothing special and the quesadillas were average at best. Tortillas were below average, as well as the carne asada. The shrimp was cooked very well, but ended up taking them out of the tortillas.
I also found the “top shelf” margaritas to be average as well.

Online shows they are open until 9 pm. Says closing soon. Arrived at 8:24, waited at host stand for 2 minutes to a gentleman coming up to us stating that the kitchen just closed because they were slow all day.
I’ve been to Los Reyes at coursey multiple times and the service is always great. Very very disappointing that we could not be served 36 minutes prior to their online time closing.
I do not usually leave these reviews unless it is necessary, however I feel this was.

Definitely would no be coming back, we called for an order and I specifically ask the staff that I wanted fajitas from lunch, my husband comes to pick up the food and they charged dinner price which was about $4-$8 extra, also the steak tasted and the smell felt old.

Let’s get into it. Salsa has something in it that overpowers the tomato it was disgusting. The food gets by.. by a hair of being edible. Terrible food, it tasted awful, and the service is terrible also. I can’t believe they even put mexican food on the name.

We’ve eaten at this location a few times now and it just isn’t good. The steak fajitas are tough, the rice has no flavor, the salsa is BAD. WAY to expensive for what you get
