Founded in 2018 by Ariel Ovidio Villatoro and Olga Marina Villatoro, Los Primos Latin American Cuisine, casual, family-friendly restaurant serving the best Latin American specialties in the Mongomery County Area located in Maryland. Los Primos resembles a true, authentic Latin American Restaurant with the capacity to host over 60 guests. While we are best known for our awesome Latino menu, our restaurant also serves Salvadorian dishes.

The food here was really good! I ordered the seafood quesadilla, and it was sooooo good packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everyone in my party loved their chicken quesadillas too so it’s safe to say the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The drinks were strong (in the best way) and definitely worth the money. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side in my opinion for what you get potation wise but overall it’s a great spot for delicious Mexican food and quality drinks. Would definitely come back!

I stopped in for a giant burrito and two really strong margaritas, and everything was absolutely delicious.
What really made the visit stand out was the service and the atmosphere. The owner, Ariel, came out to say hello and chat for a bit. He was awesome, and that kind of personal touch made the whole experience feel genuinely welcoming.
Great food, great drinks, and a really nice place overall. I’ll definitely be back.

We were in MD for fun and wanted somewhere to eat where they had good seasoned food. The food is amazing and the staff is very nice and welcoming. We’re definitely returning back here!

Los Primos is one of those spots where the food is so good that nothing else matters! Everything is scratch made and so fresh!
We sat at the bar and were greeted promptly by attentive and well-mannered staff. They were helpful with menu questions and there was quick turnaround once orders were placed. I am a very picky eater, but I managed to eat the entire Taquitos Dorados app myself! The drinks were delicious and well-proportioned. Strawberry Daiquiri is made with real strawberries.
Ariel, the owner operator, is a class act. Has been there since 2018 with his wife and a small staff comprised of family. He came out to introduce himself and see how we liked the food. There was such pride in his operation, and rightfully so!
Parking can be a challenge, and the entrance can be difficult to locate depending on which direction you approach from. As stated earlier, the food makes any small obstacle worth the hassle to get here.
They do catering orders as well, FYI! We will be back no doubt!

First time there. Food was tasty, (has tacos), it was filling and good value. Drinks were good (I had a margarita). Ari? was very nice and older gentleman, (chef maybe?), came out to say hello. Would definitely recommend and I’d go back to try another dish.

Amazing place! The first time we visited the restaurant was for Mother’s Day. We had three kids with us and everyone found something to choose from the menu. Special thanks that the dishes were not spicy! Everything is very fresh and the portions are large! We’ll definitely be back!

5/5 on everything. My friend and I went here last week our first time and omg the food was so amazing. The waitress was so nice and attentive, the margaritas were good. I got the enchiladas and my friend got the soup. My food was so good and my friend loved her soup so much she got it twice the same day we will definitely be back!!!

The dish included juicy steak, flavorful chicken, sautéed green peppers and onions, chorizo, all topped with melted Mexican cheese—it was cooked to perfection. It also came with Mexican rice, beans, and tortillas, so the presentation of the meal was amazing, definitely filling, and amazing price for all of that food.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Los Primos felt more like a home than just a restaurant. The warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special.

There are so many good Mexican restaurants in MoCo, but this place has to be one of the best! This restaurant is not that big but it has enough tables and parking spaces. They also have outdoor seating available. I have been to this place several times and never had bad dishes from here. I highly recommend their steak fajitas and chicken pupusa. But my favorite dish was their chimichanga. It was really crispy outside and soft inside with so much flavors. Their staffs were super friendly and accommodating. The owner of the restaurant came to us just to check on us and answered any questions regarding the menu. They also have an extensive Mexican alcoholic beverages. I’m planning to visit this place again during their happy hour. If you love chimichanga, you have to visit this place! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend. Not too crowded, great music, and parking convenient. Shrimp and salad were both fresh. Best taco salad around and the pupusas were great too. Gluten free options a plus.
