I love this place! I come here pretty often and it’s always good. Most recently, I was here after a weekend hike. It hit the spot! The cabbage pico is always the best, had cheese enchiladas that were perfect, service was super fast and friendly. Highly recommend

Not great, completely underwhelming.

We’ve been searching for a new Mexican restaurant in the Camas area for a while now. Decided to try Los Potrillos last night.

Parking is overwhelming. Poor location. Terrible parking, you’re fighting with a hotel, an urgent care, a driving school, and a sushi restaurant. Good luck easily parking.

The restaurant / bar is just, messy. Decor everywhere but so much of it that you feel overwhelmed.

Service was friendly but slow. We sat in the bar and the bartender took 15 minutes just to take our drink order… I get he was busy chatting with the other people at the bar but he completely ignored us.

The fajitas were basically terrible. They were so awful, we joked that they likely came out of the freezer section of the Sysco truck. From the time we ordered to the time food hit the table was just a couple minutes. Totally a microwave / pre-fixed meal. Nothing was fresh. Taste was awful, we didn’t finish and we declined to take a box home.

It’s overpriced. The menu is confusing. The cleanliness is lacking. Their “salsa” was water with chunks of gooey tomato and completely tasteless. The chips were stale. They brought this free salad stuff with the salsa that was questionable.

It’s not often I leave a poor review. Unfortunately, I cannot give one positive thing about our entire experience. We will not return.

Easily the worst Mexican restaurant experience I’ve had. The queso was bland, the chips and taco shells were stale, and one of our quesadillas was so bad it couldn’t even be eaten. When we said something, they brought the manager out—but instead of trying to make it right, his attitude felt more like intimidation than customer service.

On top of that, our waitress walked away before finishing everyone’s drink order, the taco order was wrong the first time, and we had to correct it just to get what we originally asked for. To make matters worse, they automatically added a tip because we had a larger party—even though the service was already poor.

Overall, bad food, bad service, and an even worse attitude. Wouldn’t recommend.

Quick, friendly service and a nice laid back atmosphere. The salsa was unique with a smooth tomato base, chopped onion/cilantro, and just the right amount of kick. I always order carne asada tacos when trying new Mexican restaurants so that’s what I got here and they were pretty good. The steak didn’t have a ton of flavor but I do like the cilantro and onion added to give it a traditional taste. My husband got one of the big plates with an enchilada, chicken taco, and tostada and all of those were good. I definitely want to come back to try the quesadilla and a classic marg!

I happen to be taking my son to take his driving test next door, figured I would check the place out. Parking is a bit tricky there especially if busy. I was sat down pretty quick and sat at bar which made sense I was by myself. I just wanted something light so figured two tacos would be fine. I ordered two carne asada tacos. Service was good btw when the plate arrived I was kinda taken back but not in a good way. What I think was supposed to be beans was more of a thin syrup of beans. Could not eat if I tried would slip through fork. Rice was ok nothing special. The tacos were just a store bought burrito shaped tortilla that wasn’t even warm. Lots of unnecessary lettuce. Now to the most disappointing part of the tacos “ Carne Asada “ was barely even there a tiny line of what honestly resembled cat food . Not visually appetizing at all. Really tasted mostly lettuce and tomatoes. Asked for guacamole was given a Scoop with sour cream also I didn’t ask for. Just when I thought the meal was shocking then came the bill $40 that’s not including tip for two of the worst tacos I have ever eaten and a Pepsi. I could have done better at Taco Time. Unreal on what planet do you think it is ok to charge that much money for subpar food in today’s economy. I will definitely get the word out to avoid this place at all costs

I ordered this because the online image looked pretty good. But unfortunately it came out a little “different”

Nothing wrapped in bacon, all just slop.

I mean look at it.

This is an amazing local place to get good food with awesome service. My husband and I have had many birthdays and work parties here. The servers are so nice and you feel like family. I have eaten here many times and the food is always yummy. I also would like to recommend the tamales a must try 🙂

From the moment of entry to the conclusion of our dining experience, the service provided was exceptional. The chips and salsa were prepared with fresh ingredients, offering a flavorful profile with a mild spice level. Furthermore, the food was of high quality and served in generous portions, ensuring a satisfying meal. The menu presents a diverse selection, accommodating a wide range of preferences.

First time trying this restaurant. I had the #4 pork burrito. Beans and rice. Added sour cream and guacamole. It came out fast and was quite delicious. Nice chunks of pork. Beans and rice, good as well. Chips and salsa were good. Salsa had just the right amount of kick for me. Service was excellent. Two people. Person who sat us and took our order and the person who brought our chips and food. Both checked in a couple of times with us and brought more chips. Good experience. I will return.

We went about an hour before closing on a Wednesday night. The staff was great, the service was fast, the food looked great but the chicken was kinda dry. Beverage spill marks all down the wall where I sat. Not sure if I will be back.
