Omg, I found the absolute best Carne Guisada Tacos in all of San Antonio. This place was delicious…its just a small place off Castroville rd. I happend to be in the area because of a doctor’s visit. Im telling you, a must try if you love breakfast tacos…friendly staff, very inexpensive, they have multiple taco deals. Please a must support if you love tacos!

Los Potrillos Mexican Restaurant is the best.They have been there for 23 years that I remember. I tell people that I know I prayed for a good restaurant to come to my neighborhood when I lived in the apartments behind them. Sometimes I just didn’t feel like getting in my car to drive to go get something to eat. The food is good. I still go eat there. I like to eat the potato and egg taco, chiliaquiles plate, tortilla soup, carne con chilli taco, the enchiladas, puffy tacos, chalupas I can go on and on it’s been 23 years. The coffee ☕️ is good. The the owners and their family, staff, and the other customers make yo feel welcome. They know my name. The family has been a blessing to me when I needed it the most. I pray blessings upon blessings over over them and their business. Go visit them the food is good and the place is clean. Thank You Lord for answered prayer. God bless you all. ❤️

we were a large group maybe 15-16 people, we took a cake since we. celebrating 2 birthday’s when we asked if we could have plates for cake they brought us paper plates and plastic forks usually we get the real plate and real forks so never mentioned there was going to be a 5.00 fee for plates and forks till we went to pay cashier said someone has to pay the $5.00 fee for the plates n forks!! they should have mentioned it before and not till the end!! And that’s that we took a large group too!! Never again, thanks but no thanks!!!

Went for a taco of barbacoa and asked for cilantro and onion and they had the nerve to charge $1.50 for something that should come with the taco. Smh so this will be the last for me. So make sure you ask what they charge you for cause they charge for everything!

Well to start off the plates are very expensive. I ordered a vegetable soup to go. When I got back to my place of employment all they had given me was ONE small piece of carrot and ONE pice of potato. (That’s it). And they charged me the full price for a chicken soup. So I called them which they told me they would replace it for me again just to go back the next day. Which I did. As I was walking out I noticed that I was missing my rice. So I ask the waitress for my rice and in a very rude way she said WE ARE NOT GIVING YOU RICE BECAUSE JUST THE SOUP WAS INCORRECT. Which is fine with me but she didn’t have to be rude about it. So again I went back to my place of employment and to find out all I got was potatoes. Like OMG do these people not know what a vegetable soup is ♀️. I will NEVER spend a penny in that place ever again.

The waitresses were polite and prompt . But the food was disgusting. Had a piece of raw bacon in my taco and the pork chops taco was dry and had no toppings or gravy. They are ripping people off.

Their breakfast tacos are SO GOOD! Always so fresh and the flour tortillas are very soft & yummy! I come here every week before work! Had to leave a great review!
