I haven’t tried their prepared food offerings, seems like muffins and wraps and something in cups. Coffee is great. My favorite is a cortado. It’s a short latte, so strong on the espresso. Open 7 days, 6 to 6. Space is shared with the Alcove beer garden and Beat Street restaurant. Good times.

So this is probably the closest I’ve seen to actual Mexican food. I did want to clear up something I have been seeing in a lot of reviews. These are completely normal sized tacos. My quesadilla was much larger than I had expected. It was also very greasey. The guacamole on it was a bit old as you can see in the picture. Gringa was kind of disappointing. Overall it is not bad and probably one of the best choices in the area for Mexican food.

We came upon this place on Google looking for lunch nearby. It deserves 5 stars!!! The best authentic cuisine.I was just blown away by the tastes, the flavors, the quality of the ingredients and their freshness. I mean everything was amazing. And the hospitality, that is a whole another story. They were amazing, the service was very friendly and accommodating, they made sure were taken care of. The food came out timely, the outside patio was clean and had a lot of shade.

Best Mexican food for both eat in or take out. All the margaritas are delicious – especially the passion fruit. Highly recommend!

I had been told this was the best Mexican food in Wilmington, so I had high expectations. You order at the counter, pick a seat, and food is delivered to you. In the dining room, many of the tables needed a good cleaning, and the floors needed to be swept.

We walked in with a family of 12,the ordering process is a nightmare. We were told the only drink options were beer and the Mexican sodas displayed in the cooler,l we went into the dining area and found a fountain drink machine. They give each order a number but the server didn’t know they number they were delivering to,was chaos due to most the party not even seated yet. The dining area felt like a nightclub with bouncy music blaring making it unbearable forcing me outside leaving my family to sit alone outside, one person asked I was okay after about 30 minutes,I told them about the music, they just smiled and walked away. The staff brought one small basket of chips to the table and no salsa for 12 people. Finally ate my cold food and the taste was bland and very underwhelming so say the least. Absolutely miserable experience for my family on Mother’s Day.

We have been here 3-4 times for tacos and margaritas. The restaurant is in a strip mall. The menu is written in Spanish and many of the customers are Spanish-speaking as well, but the friendly staff speaks English and there is English on the menu. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and the staff brings your food out to you. We have only gotten tacos here, so I can’t comment on the other menu items. The tacos are always very fresh and good, with homemade corn tortillas. They are small, so make sure you order 2-3 if you are hungry. They typically are served only with meat, but there is a taco bar to dress them up however you want to. Beware – some of the salsas on the bar are VERY spicy. The margaritas are made to order and are very good. The tortilla chips are also good. This is a great place to go for a quick, casual dinner!
