Everything was sooooo good! Our food cost $55 which I would say is good for the amount we got (don’t mind we dug in to the fish & crab cakes before taking a pic). Delicious, the crab cakes were my favorite!

I genuinely love this place! Good selection of fish as either a dinner or sandwich (never got the chicken, theres enough places doing chicken) and not only does the food come out fantastic, everyone working here are a joy to see. I came in once for catfish nuggets (highly recommended!) And asked for a few raw nuggets to give to my cat for her birthday and the guy there gave them for free! Hush puppies to fried okra, every option has been a good one. The atmosphere gives me some nostalgia of humble fish markets I’ve visited before, its a shotgun waiting area with the smell of fried goodness in the air, what more do you need.

We ordered the mixed chicken with light crack salt. It seemed a little over cooked for me, but that’s exactly how my hub likes it. I loved the fried green beans. The Mac n cheese bites and onion rings were good. My hub picked the order up and said the place was cleaner than the chicken place on the Northside, which is important! We’ll likely order again.

The service was stellar he even gave me a extra piece of fish. I ordered a fish sandwich. The cod was overcooked and breaded, I thought it would be battered. I could hardly chew it it was so overdone. I was from out of town so I wanted to try this new place. However I will never go back there again.

Food wasn’t good today. Ordered green fried tomatoes usually good but not today. Chicken legs were ok but not them wings, fish wasn’t hot and bland ( Cod ) fried. Dude tried to charge me 4.99 for a Tahetian treat pop like come on dude…he then got mad and told me he has the cheapest, like no your not :/ QD has them for a dollar and some low change, then he says he isn’t going to argue with me LOL I just know you not. 2nd X I’ve been rubbed wrong by this spot.

I ordered some wings from the fresh fish on Edgewood and 6 HALF wings just like this one were in my order. I called to tell them and get some replacement wings and the owner kept talking over me saying he knew because a lot came in the case so he put a couple extra pieces in my order. I counted them and my math determined that THAT was a LIE!!!

I really liked this place because it was clean. After PISS POOR conflict resolution, I will now be taking my business to the East side fish fry for the majority of my chicken and fish needs. This idiot had the gall to rush me off the phone saying; “were really busy.” !
You don’t have to EVER IN LIFE worry about ME making you busy again!!!
Customer service NEEDS to be a PRIORITY because WITHOUT customers you have NO business.

If you’re going to advertise a WHOLE WING, & charge for a WHOLE WING, then I want a WHOLE WING!!!!

I ordered 20 wings, large fry, jumbo shrimp and Mac n cheese. None of my food was fresh, chicken/fries old, shrimp was very little and the Mac n cheese was horrible. I was not impressed at all.
