First of all, thank you for the reasonable prices. When I saw the prices I didn’t expect to get this kind of taste. But it was ridiculously tasty. I guess it is a family owned business, so do not expect to get a fancy restaurant service. Specially, because of the pandemic, staff number is limited for sure and it is not that easy to handle that huge place. So be patient. They were all friendly. We waited 20-25 minutes for 4 pupusas. But totally worth to wait. It was so fresh and hot that we had to wait for 10 minutes after got back to home to let it cool down a bit. The salad was super fresh. Highly recommended

Not the best pupusas in the world but definitely the best pupusas in town. I usually order 3 pupusas to get full no matter where I go but here with two I was done. Liked the every bite I took was full of cheese or stuffing, they definitely not stingy when it comes to that. I hate it when I’m other places they put the stuffing mostly in the middle and the edges are more masa than anything. The place fries need some interior remodeling, feels a little cheap for the prices on the food. If food prices are high then the place should also be more classy.

I still think about this place, I’m so sad they closed. Best pupusas and Salvadoran food I ever had in my life.

If you’re looking for great pupusas or Salvadoran food look no further, los molcajetes is where it’s at. Food is delicious from the pupusas to the aguas. Always consistent hot food, service is excellent they go above and beyond to every customer. The Music they play makes the mood better and you can also sit inside if you don’t want to take it to go. My go to plate is the típico which consists of 2 pupusas, yuca y chicharrón and a plátano frito with beans and crema. Definitely hits the spot. Horchata salvadoreña is the best I’ve had from anywhere I’ve gone. Prices are very reasonable. Wait is not too bad since they make everything from scratch but if you don’t want to wait I suggest calling in your order. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so for all my pupusas cravings. Thank you Los Molcajetes

First time ever having Pupusas! I ordered a Chicken & Cheese with Corn flour and a Shrimp & Cheese with Rice flour. The Chicken & Cheese pupusa was fire! Amazing, I would visit again just for that. Because it was my first time I didn’t know exactly what to order but now I’d recommend sticking with the traditional corn flour. I don’t think there was anything wrong with the rice flour. I’m sure it was cooked correctly, there was nothing wrong with the craft. I just think that the flavor was off since it wasn’t corn. I also want to note that I appreciate the intimacy of this establishment. It’s not flashy and its atmosphere is a family feel. There was this old man who came in to deliver a box of supplies, the middle-aged man who took my order acknowledged his entrance, stopped what he was doing and gave him a sincere hug. The man who took my order had a mean mug but like resting face so don’t let this off put you. He seems like a really nice man! He was attentive to me and my friend. 10/10 experience. I would visit again.

update: so oddly enough, the Shrimp & Cheese rice flour pupusa is better the next day. I appreciate leftovers lol

Delicious food everything was perfect. I had read other reviews saying that it was a long wait and yes this is not a fast food restaurant. They take a bit but you can literally hear them patting the masa for the pupusas. If you have an hour to eat definitely come in and enjoy a fresh pupusa (or 2) like me you can also order on the phone. The staff were really nice and friendly, they make you feel as if you were at a friends house.

Great authentic Asian food for a great price. We eat the soup, spicy chicken and fried rice. All was very delicious. When you like Asian food and you are close – than don’t miss it and go for a good lunch or dinner.

The breakfast with Eggs, Frijoles and Crema is by far the best plate on the menu IMO.
The Pupusas are deelish. I have eaten here several times and the food is always on point. You gotta try it.

I’ve come to this restaurant previously and I’ve always had a pleasant time. Today on the other hand I am truly disappointed. I waited over an hour for my food (didn’t know eggs took so long to make). The portion for the caldo is ridiculous never have I seen a restaurant serve such an amount. And the gallina was not cleaned well it was left with feathers and organs. I really liked the food here but my experience today really disappointed me.

The pupusas were the biggest and best I’ve had in a long time. The curtido was on point, and tasty. Pricing is very reasonable, esp for the serving size.
