Parking & Accessibility
• Plenty of free parking including handicapped spots.
• The entrance and interior are completely flat with no stairs, making it very accessible.
Atmosphere & Seating
• We were greeted cheerfully and seated immediately.
• They have a great back room that is perfect for larger, noisier groups or celebrations without disturbing other diners.
• The restaurant is exceptionally clean. Unlike many places with worn-out decor, their custom-painted chairs are in great condition and very comfortable for long dinners.
Service & Appetizers
• Chips, salsa, and bean dip were brought to the table immediately.
• Our server was very attentive, keeping drinks refilled while we waited for the rest of our party.
Food Highlights
• Don Julio Especial: A massive portion (similar to a Molcajete). It doesn’t come with cactus or grilled jalapeños, but the jalapeños are available as a side.
• Mojarra Frita: A traditional whole tilapia, deep-fried and served with the head and tail.
• Details: Both entrees came with rice, beans, lettuce, and guacamole. Be sure to specify flour or corn tortillas when you order.
• Value: Very reasonably priced for the amount of food provided.
Drinks
• The specialty drinks have fantastic presentation and taste, though they are easy to finish quickly.
• The large goblet margaritas are a great value; they taste amazing and have a generous amount of tequila.
Overall, we had a wonderful first visit and will definitely be back!

Food was wonderful and Service was great! We were in town for an event and noticed their sign when driving by. You can’t miss it, with the jumping deer. We ate there both evenings while in town and probably would have been back a third time, but we had to head home. Will be back next time we are in Antigo, Wisconsin!

Had an excellent dinner at the bar this evening. Our waitress was a pleasure and did a great job. We have had a ton of Mexican in our lives and this one was one of the best yet! Definitely will be back and super excited to try the deep fried snickers. ❤️

11:30pm Monday afternoon. Greeted at door. Sat immediately. Chips, salsa &beans (1st set free, $1.75 there after) brought right away. 2 for 1 Jumbo Lime margaritas $7.50. Shredded chicken chimichanga (lunch size) $10.50, beef burrito $8.99, side of sour cream $1.25.
We will definitely be back. We were full half way thru, but had to finish it was so good. Will definitely be back!!

I’ve been trying to get information on their food and drink specials. What kind of food at what price on what day? What drink special is offered on which day.
Apparently there’s a communication gap because all I’m getting is what times their offered. That’s useful but not what I asked.
I give you 2 stars for communication.

This place is wonderful! The food was excellent and they have a really nice menu with lots of choices!! Staff was very friendly-also respectful and attentive!! Also the drinks are amazing!!!! Our food came to the tables super fast and was absolutely delicious, everyone was very happy with their choices. On a side note, The restaurant was very busy but the acoustics of the building are nice and it wasn’t so loud that I couldn’t have a conversation with my family. It was nice not having to scream so my family could hear me across the table!

Place was dead on a holiday weekend Friday (Labor Day) that should have said enough… We sat in the bar area, 1 other person was in there, he left shortly after we got there… So just us in the bar… A few tables in the dining area, very not busy… We made it through a large margarita each and still couldn’t get an order put in… The bartender and server would do everything they could to avoid eye contact and avoid helping us. After a half hour of no service we finally walked to the front, paid for our drinks and left. Bartender was clearly very high on God knows what in this town. Horrible service, save your time and wait until the next restaurant goes in this cursed building.
