The parking lot tells the story of a great restaurant—and Los Locos Mexican Restaurant in Clinton, Arkansas, speaks volumes before you even walk in. My brother-in-law and I were searching for a new Mexican place to try, and Google Maps led us here around 4:00 p.m. The almost full parking lot immediately caught our attention, and we quickly discovered why.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Karen, who seated us promptly with genuine hospitality. Right away, it was clear that the entire staff is attentive, eager to serve, and truly customer-focused. The atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed—like being invited into a Mexican hacienda.
The chips and salsa were outstanding—fresh, hot, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice: flavorful and satisfying without being overwhelming. As we looked over the menu, our anticipation only grew, and the food did not disappoint. Our meals arrived in a timely manner, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious.
One of the highlights was witnessing a birthday celebration at a nearby table—complete with joyful singing and a big sombrero for the guest of honor. It added laughter, fun, and a sense of family that made the experience even more special.
The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained, including spotless bathrooms. We also noticed outdoor seating available, which is impressive considering we visited during the winter with snow still deep around the parking lot.
Kudos to Pedro, the manager, Karen, and the entire Los Locos team for creating such a memorable dining experience. Their smiles, professionalism, and authentic hospitality truly make you feel at home.

One good place in Clinton to eat. More options that just the usual Tex-Mex. Tortillas were hot and the booze was stiff. Wait staff will find someone who speaks English if you have any questions.

Great mainstream Mexican food with a few items in the menu that are unique. The wait staff are on point and seem to come around only when you need them. That’s the kind of experience I want. The prices aren’t bad either. Two can eat for under thirty bucks! And to top it off though I’m sure sometimes there’s is a wait I’ve never had to wait to be seated. And the parking lot was full.

Great portions, excellent and super friendly staff. Any of them, Sebastian, Carlos, Deya, or Juan, will make sure you have a great time and your food meets all your needs. We always go there if we want to eat authentic Mexican food (30 min away from my house). Their molcajete and Mexican fajitas are phenomenal.

The food was great and the serving size was big. The facility is small, but it is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are a family restaurant, so children are welcomed. Prices are very reasonable. They have plenty of off street parking.

I was thoroughly impressed with Los Locos. They have a more authentic flavor and atmosphere than most other Mexican restaurants. We recently moved to the area and love going out for Mexican food, I see this place being our regular spot.
Update 5/24/24. The service at this place is absolutely atrocious. I’ve all but stopped going based on this solely. Every once in a while I will get a to go order and even then it’s hit or miss if it’s correct. Be prepared to wait for a while. Even paying takes forever as no one mans the front register then they take forever to acknowledge anyone is there.
