Fun place to try out, but not somewhere that I will recurrently going to. Unless you were ordering a sandwich or wings, most of the food was $20 to $40. This might be okay for some people, but it was simply out of my price range for what I wanted to eat. My $22 mac n cheese was good, but not worth that price.

Waiting was about 20 minutes across street from our resort. Awesome food! Appetizer of potatoes and pull pork was great! Main entrees were great! A family of 4 spent $126 dollars! Our waiter was Ron and he’s so nice!

Probably our favourite restaurant in the village. Ate here twice on a 3 night mtb trip and left totally satisfied. The hostess is wonderful, the servers were friendly and knowledgeable of what they served and what craft beer they had! (That was a plus in our books) The portions of food were a good size and absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend the pork shank and bbq salmon! The view of the mountains was stunning! Indoor and outdoor seating offered. If you eat at the bar you do t have to wait to be seated. They have a few tables with high chairs by the bar where you order food with the bartender, they are not waited on. Small takeout menu. Good selection of craft beer. If you’re a craft beer lover, go for the black IPA! They get pretty full quickly so go early.

We really enjoyed our dinners & drinks at the Foxfire Grill! Harley was our waitress and did a great job with the friendly, expert service with a smile & humor! I had the Surf & Turf with a loaded baked potato and lovely skinny green beans. Ann had the yummy half rack of ribs with delicious baked beans & yummy cole slaw! We enjoyed the Blue Bomb drinks. We had the yummy Lava Cake with ice cream to go for later!

In the summer, this restaurant has no competition in Snowshoe (everything else is closed). There are very few vegetarian options besides the starch heavy sides. The service was really good. We had to wait 20-30min for a table but they were spot on “come back in 20-30 min” and seated us. Our server, Ron, was great. He was very patient with menu questions, refilled our water frequently, did not rush or pressure us to order more or eat faster, and provided us helpful travel recommendations. The fries are bad. The pulled pork is good.

Great service even though they were busy they were pretty quick to bring the food out. Had lunch and dinner there are several times over the weekend and didn’t get a bad meal at all. Very pleasant surroundings and beautiful night sky above.
