Got the super burritto and the shrimp cocktail…very delicious! A hint of sweetness, nice toastiness on the tortilla. The salsa with the chips had a nice smokey flavor and spiciness to it–spicy enough for my husband to need something to drink! The food is properly seasoned and not overly spicy which is great for a soft-mouth like me 🙂
The place was packed on a sunday at lunch time, a great sign that the food is good. The lady who helped us was friendly and understanding.
Mostly indoor seating but we sat at the one outside table under the umbrella.

Wish I could give it ZERO stars. 5/10/2021 Evening. When you first arrive at the door and enter this is a gloomy dirty place. Customer service is not good, all tables inside were full and dirty. Zero social distancing. The cook was not wearing a mask all the time I was there and kept going in and out the kitchen out the back door. I ordered a combo plate of two “chiles rellenos” and the food was Luke warm they stuff them with Queso Fresco. The egg that covers the Chile was dark brown and smell like old oil. They pour lots of green sauce all over your plate and the sauce is not good. Over all don’t waste your $$$ there are way better places… Food is not good…

Had the mole de chicken it, was Not taste able, no flavors of Chile and the beans where soggy like water. No mexico taste, flavor like a can of red sauce. Highly not recommended. The cooks NEED More Training skills on real Mexican food. This place SUCKS!!! Sounds like a Bar!!! In the restaurant not family area to take your family and children. Left with a freaking HEADACHE and The Nasty food in my mouth.

I have gone to eat here and a little after Covid they served us outside, but it was nice. Carne asada tacos are my son’s favorite to have here and I have had a few different items each time we came and everything was great tasting and fresh. Salsas are so good mild and hot. Most of all it was comfortable to eat and conversate. I don’t go anywhere else when I have been in town.

My whole entire plate was microwave not even fresh I ordered rice and beans and chile rellenos. Plus all the food was very salty. Honda customer service was sad. Their customer service really sucks. I do not recommend anybody to go eat there at all. My food inside the chili rellenos was very cold due to the microwaving of my plate .

This was my first visit to this Trine’s location and I was a little disappointed.
I have been to other Trine’s in San Jose and have had enjoyable meals.
It was breakfast time and I ordered chorizo and eggs.
A very common meal for a Mexican breakfast.
The price was $13.50 which I felt was high for the portion.
Now for the food…the chorizo/eggs was good.
Properly cooked and seasoned.
The rice and beans were just okay.
My problem with these they were both under seasoned and lacked the flavor I’m used to.
However the red chile arbol salsa was outstanding which I ended up
adding to the rice/beans.
The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere.
The wait staff were friendly except the time it took to get our check seemed longer than expected.
I will definitely try this restaurant again for a comparison.

.. ❤❤❤ Connie is the best !!! Always makes you feel a Home. Food Is absolutely amazing. Just like my mom use to make it. Overall just Love going here feels like home. Even during the Pandemic me n my family still.woulf and will order to go. ❤ this place !!
