Great casual & quick sushi place for a reasonable price!
The quality of sushi is really good here. It reminds me of a small sushi restaurant at Osaka Station in Japan. (That’s a compliment!)
Today, I visited this restaurant for a sushi snack and sat at the counter. I ordered the nigiri & 1 roll combination platter. I ordered a tekka roll for a roll choice and the chef put generous amount of tuna in the roll. Thank you, chef!
Our server was Panom and the service was great as well. He even brought me a cup of green tea. Thank you!
Counter sitting is highly recommended!

Blue Ribbon Sushi is a solid and straightforward spot in the heart of Rockefeller Center. I stopped by for a solo dinner after work, and it was quick, simple, and reasonably priced. While it’s not the best sushi I’ve had, it’s a good option for a fast and satisfying omakase experience. Perfect if you’re looking for something convenient and tasty in the area.

Just tasty AF! Had the california roll(w/ real crab ) y’all. Buts whats point of getting sushi if you just order one roll ?!?! So you know I had to order the salmon cucumber roll to balance off the meal. This is my later in the week spot, when i feel like treating myself. Tough to justify the price at times, but quality cannot be denied. ** certified take my money** kinda place.

Fantastic- everything was prepared with such care and the staff was unbelievably kind and mannerly! My only negative feedback would be the slightly pricy range of some of the smaller dishes, but you do get what you pay for here. The quality of the sashimi was perfect and every inch of the prep areas were spotless. A really great spot!

The food is really delicious at Lunch, never have try take out because the food of this place is to savor sitting, but slow and bad service. The sushi is fresh and has a good portion per dish

Be careful if you order a bulk order. We ordered $350+ of sushi including a variety of the 10 sushi platters which are $26 each. They gave us the cheapest rolls possible, cucumber, spicy tuna, and tuna. If we had known ahead of time that they wouldn’t give us an actual variety or even rolls without fish, we wouldn’t have trusted the “chef’s choice”. We also already ordered spicy tuna so we ended up with a tuna heavy order.

Really nice place in Rockefeller center’s basement. Usually not very crowded and has tasty sushi. It’s nice place to eat lunch or dinner after visiting top of the rock or NBC your.
It’s a bit pricey though, so overall 4 starts. Grab a hot chocolate nearby for a dessert

Good sushi but way overpriced. You can get sushi at Whole Foods 2 blocks down 6th Ave for half the price & same quality.
