Husband and I visited on Tuesday night because we noticed they have Taco Tuesday specials. I got a $5 Margarita and a Chicken Tortilla Ramen. My husband got a Beef burrito. It was all so good! Our server, Chris, was a hoot, and we loved him. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area.

First time here, food was on point. Somewhat disappointing you have to pay for chips and salsa, but i wouldn’t rate lower for something like that. We live in different times and some things we are used to are changing. The kiosk in my opinion was ok, they did offer full service. We will be back very soon!! Let me start by saying that I’m from California, so I’m accustomed to decent Mexican food.
I ordered three chicken tacos without any sides. The pricing here seems off, considering the quality and quantity of the tacos. They cost $14 for three small or medium-sized tacos, including tax and tip I was out $20. That’s a lot for California, and the food quality doesn’t match up with what I’m used to.

Food was DELICIOUS, fresh, w/ beautiful presentation. Large portions of yum w/ the Shrimp Crawfish Nachos! Will def return!!! Super clean & inviting too. Love the decor. Great spot w/ lots of space.

This was my first time trying Los Jefes. The Birria Tacos were excellent. Great flavor! Wife got the Taco Bowl with carne asada and thought it was very good. The carne asada was very tender. Margaritas were good…the regular & the watermelon! However, I am not a fan of the chairs! In my opinion, these metal chairs are not comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed the experience & would go back.

The food was delicious. We ordered the Birria piza which can feed about 4 adults. The broth was a little on the salty side, but still good. We also ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which was very flavorful and a large portion. Lastly, we ordered the crawfish queso and it had a delcious creole flavor.

Have now been here 3 or 4 times since they first opened. They have changed their setup multiple times from kiosk service to now full service. The full service seems to be working for them much better.
We went on a Friday night around 6:00 and it was not that busy inside. However, it took about an hour for or us to get our food. I understand they may understaffed and busy but they need to be able to get food out quicker than that. Mind you they had a bunch of people waiting for to go orders. They have been open for a while but have not figured out their setup quite yet.
The food is fantastic and always very fresh. Bergeron provides excellent service and gave me a free beer for the wait. The king cake margaritas we had were also excellent. If they can figure out how to get their food out quickly and to deal with a dinner rush, this place will succeed!

So we ordered a loaded nachos with meat. And two different types of tacos and a chips and queso, I did have a coupon but the food was really good. The server was fantastic, she was running half of the restaurant by herself and doing a good job. I enjoyed it, we have eaten Sunday Brunch at the Los Jefes in Metairie and that was fantastic. But that has been a while ago. A little pricey but the food was good.

We went for dinner last night. The chips that were brought out were…ok, the dips were good. 2 of our 3 meals were brought out, the crunch wrap was good the enchiladas were so burnt I had to send them back. Still no sign of the 3rd meal (chicken tacos). About 8-10 minutes goes by and the enchilada plate comes out. No pretty garnish like the first plate but that’s fine. Still no sign of the tacos. Mind you the first person that received their plate has been done with their meal. The tacos arrive, my daughter said they were good. It was a good 12-15 from the first plate and the third.
The waitress apologized, and offered us each a small churro.
