Was surprised to see how little consommé I received from Los Jefe located at 3224 Edenborn. Paco’s Taco’s on Veterans gives 1/2 a cup of consommé with the Birra Tacos. Los Jefes must be in a drought. Will bring consommé for you guys next Tuesday. Birra was great tho.

We had an amazing night at Los Jefes in Metairie! The food was fantastic, the drinks were strong and flavorful, and the service was top-notch.
Jake, our server, absolutely crushed it—and it was only his second night on the job! He was attentive, friendly, and handled our table like a seasoned pro. We couldn’t have asked for better service.
I had the carne asada with charro beans—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife’s burrito bowl was fresh and hearty, and our friends ordered sizzling fajitas and carne asada topped with shrimp—everything was delicious.
We also enjoyed several margarita expressions—each one crafted perfectly and a great complement to the food and vibe.
Los Jefes delivers on every front: great food, fun atmosphere, and fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back—and we hope Jake gets the recognition he deserves!

When we were seated the waitress brought out stale chips. We didn’t bother to ask her for another batch but the busser was cleaning a table next to us and sprayed the solution in the direction of our food and wiped the crumbs near us. I spoke up to another waitress & she told him scoot the situation and he said “not his problem the table was close to them”. He brought out another batch of chips, we refused & felt uncomfortable with the handling of our food. Once our entries were given to us the food was cold & my mother had hair on her plate. Our waitress wasn’t fluent English so we didn’t want to bother her with remaking the food. I personally wouldn’t visit this establishment again.

A friend invited me to this Mexican taco restaurant out and I was highly satisfied with the shrimp taco salad! This restaurant was bright and colorful on the outside as well as the inside. I also appreciated the fact I was able to order to go and it didn’t take long. I also ordered the chiros which were cream filled to my surprise and also came with a scoop of ice cream. The order also came with a complementary order of salsa and chips which were extremely crunchy and light, not like ordinary chips and salsa! I highly recommend this spot if you are in Metairie.

Situated north of the city, this is somewhere that is worth visiting if you want a quick bite.
The nachos and the guacamole were the best part and you can just about call that a meal for one. Unsalted and freshly made chips had some amazing fresh guacamole.
Tacos were very good too and well prepared.
Drinks again on the good side and we had a flight of cocktails.

I loved everything tonight. The food was great. The atmosphere great. Our waitress Crystal (I love her) was great. She constantly checked on us and took her time to explain everything!!! They really need more like her. Makes ya wanna go right back. See ya Friday Crystal!! ❤️

The carne asada tacos that I had was tender but lacked taste. I forgot to order it Mexican style with just onions and cilantro. Instead it was served with way too much guacamole, no onions and no cilantro that I could see or taste. The tacos were served with a single white soft shell, not double witch broke easily. I couldn’t taste the peach in the margaita. I would go back for a beer if the bartender was working. PS – i dad to ask for napkins and I had no silverware.

The Brunch Buffet is good, it is not large but what they have us very good. The food is very tasty. The avocado toast is so good. The waffle is very good, they could have some more toppings, but they have fresh cut strawberries and blueberries, whip topping and sauce. Over all a very good experience. My son loves to go. Brunch is 15.95 plus you can get the endless Mimosa’s for and extra $10 per person. Very worth it!!
