With our very first visit to this wonderfully authentic and dedicated family restaurant we were pleasantly delighted with just how delicious our food tasted! I’m talking from beginning with the salsa and warm chips, the house made refried beans, the tender/not over cooked but very flavorful chicken , rice, and fresh salad with a generous dollop of sour cream, plus the ground beef taco & enchilada was fabulous! Service & friendliness abounded from the waiter to the owner of which the restaurant is named after. We will most definitely be making this a regular dinner favorite.

I like everything about this place. You can tell that they take great pride in their work. The service is excellent, friendly, and professional. The restaurant is very clean inside and out. The food is absolutely delicious! They use high quality ingredients and purposely avoid using cheaper products. The size of the portions is incredible. I can make the tirzo special last for three meals. I’ll always find time to stop by when I’m visiting LaFayette.

We absolutely love eating here me and my husband order the same thing Everytime they have this baked potato called a “potato hope” try it it’s amazing !!!! The sweet tea is to die for its perfect!!!!and the staff here is AMAZING AS ALWAYS THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO FOR A MEXICAN TUMMY DELIGHT THE CHICKEN HERE IS THE ONLY CHICKEN FROM SUMMERVILLE GA ALL THE WAY TO CHATTANOOGA GA THAT ACTUALLY TASTES GOOD AND HAS FLAVOR TO IT I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE AT LEAST ONCE BUT AFTER THAT FIRST TRY YOULL WANT TO GO BACK!! they also provide Togo food and if you ask them to separate your tacos (meat in one and veggies in another and the shells separate) they will so your food dog get soggy until you get to where your going!! Carnitas were bone dry and had zero flavor. Not even salt. Corn tortillas were old and brittle. A waste of 20$. Beans were ok and the rice seemed like it was made yesterday. Never agian. You can tell when a restaurant doesn’t care about the food they serve you and it definitely is the case here. 1/25/26.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is wonderful but the food that my family I were served was nasty. It tasted like leftovers that were a few days old and had been left out. All 3 of us ended up with food poisoning. Not happy at all. After paying over $70 for garbage.
