Wow, so good! I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla and the flavoring is something I’ve never tasted before. Very unique to me and I will be eating here again if I’m in the area. Good selection of beer. The staff/owners are very friendly. It’s a small building across the street from the Pilot. Thanks for a delicious meal!

Pretty chill place. Plenty of seating. Service is a little slow even when you order ahead, but it’s worth it. Best grilled chicken torta and the tacos and burritos are really good here as well.

I love the food at Los Grullenses. My go to order is the pastor quesadilla and a large of beans and rice. I can make three meals out of this order. But, if I’m honest, I really make the drive over from Monterey for their green salsa. It is sooo good. The atmosphere isn’t the best so I get my food to go.

The constant struggle is the salsa. I’m not quite sure what the deal is. They make you pay for salsa, which I’m grouchy about but it’s my favorite so I’m willing to pay. The order for salsa is literally called “4 salsas” and the menu photo shows 4 tiny containers of salsa. Despite ordering it, I almost never get this in my to-go bag, sometimes it’s 2 or 3 tiny containers but rarely 4. So then I have to ask and I hate having to ask because I am paying for it, it’s part of my order, it shouldn’t be so hard. And I order via DoorDash takeaway so there is no room for a language barrier, it’s as plain as day: 4 salsas.

I will continue to go and recommend LG but make sure you check your orders before leaving. Would definitely be 5 star for me if this wasn’t such a consistent issue.

Fantastic food and the prices are right. When you are in Salina, CA do a stop by and enjoy. The tacos and tostada are tasty. Delicious! Fast food service and the drinks are not to sweet and made the right way.
I really enjoyed my first time here. More importantly for my professional driver, it’s right across the street from the pilot.

I’ve been coming here for a while. It really close to the truck stop and for the most part it’s always busy for good reason.

I usually get the super burrito carnitas and the ceviche which is really good but I’ve treat the tacos al pastor, ceviche tostada, sopes all phenomenal. The pnly thing I wasn’t a big fan was the pesole. This place is pretty authentic and im sure its good but just not my style.

I’ll keep being a customer. When I’m back home I always get cravings for this place.

I’m not from Salinas. So it’s not fair to rank or rate this restaurant to others nearby. But I’d say it was quintessential and has an authentic style for California Mexican restaurant.
How can you go wrong with local, small business?
First time eating a pickled carrot. Tasty, tart and a hint of spice.
The four Tacos #1 was amazing.
AMAZING

It’s off a main road so easy access but also traffic noise.

The wife stumbled on to this place by chance and I thought we were going to get another so-so meal, and man were we in for a NICE surprise! The staff were all very nice and the atmosphere, though one cannot dine-in cause of covid yet, you may enjoy a beer while you wait and that’s about how long the wait is coincidentally.
I enjoyed the fish burrito and the wife enjoyed the alpastor burrito. We loved them so much we went there again to buy more for the road. I tried the pascado (fish) nachos and she got the alpastor tacos with rice and beans on the side. Everything was amazing. Seasoned rice and beans done RIGHT!
PLEASE VISIT THIS PLACE you won’t go wrong!
