Gigantic and delicious breakfast burrito!
I stopped her spontaneously bc I was craving a breakfast burrito. I’m not one to gamble on breakfast burritos as I’m often disappointed in the meat/potato/egg ratio and the overall size of breakfast burritos (ie santiagos burritos are so tiny).
But I was positively surprised to be handed a very girth-y burrito that would envy the size of a fully loaded Chipotle burrito. It was delicious and worthy of the 8 dollar price.

I love the Los gallitos off alameda but this one is 2 min from my work so when I get off it’s nice to have the tacos. Thankfully I’m off work before midnight in the winter so I can come here after work. I had the buche and pastor and both were delicious

Great chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Not too spicy. Small portion of rice & beans. We got the green chili fries, with a different green chili. That was a little spicier. Jarritos soda makes everything taste better. Open dining. Fair prices & prepared fresh with a short wait.

To be honest, Very disappointed. The girl (Cashier) was pretty good and friendly but the food was terrible. Greasy tacos.. I ordered regular and it was well done. Not grilled green onion and grilled chile (jalapeño) even if I asked for those. The tripa was all fat and full of oil. I have been a patron of Los Gallitos in Alameda for almost 12 years and I love their tacos and all food but this location was really bad. I was not happy at all. I did not enjoy my food and I paid for fatty tripa tacos that I threw away to the garbage. I know you just opened this location but I think you should improve. Not coming back again so far..

We come here every taco Tuesday or late night on the weekends, and I swear every time the tacos get better! Al pastor are my favorite, with El Carne coming in at a close second. They have multiple different delicious salsas, and a great taco Tuesday deal with tacos only $1.75 until 4 PM.

This place is nothing special. Ordered through the drive thru and lemme tell ya the tacos are SKIMPY! I’ve never had a taco so devoid of meat/ filling. I think the styrofoam plate and tin foil might have cost more than the meat they put into them. Three very small, and underfilled tacos for 8 dollars is quite disappointing. Ordered the Barbacoa and unfortunately it was also not all too great. No actual chunks of meat, all very ground down. Tasted alright but that’s not how barbacoa, or tacos in general, should be. There are much better taco shops/ trucks around town. Really sad to be disappointed in this place I hoped that it’d be decent. It’s unfortunate and dissatisfying that the tacos are only about two bites, zero meat. Though the red was fine, the green salsa was quite unfortunate: it tastes fresh but it just has a very unbalanced flavor of only jalapeño. It’s a creama type salsa, it shouldn’t be like that. Very simplistic food for a higher price point than most comparable spots and with poor execution. It would be worth the price if the tacos were less tortilla, more… anything else. Im left sad and hungry after that.

Was so excited to have this place down the street! Tried a breakfast burrito last weekend and was disappointed. For $10, it was a really big burrito, but like all potatoes with hardly any cheese or eggs. It was very dry and bland. Adding green chili helped, but id hope it would be delicious on its own. The drive through was also extremely slow and there was no one in front of me.
Will try this place again as maybe it’s non breakfast options are better.
