Wonderfully delicious ribs. As some other reviews mentioned it’s a family run restaurant, father cooks and son serves. Courteous service. Fresh, tasty smoothie. Got extra meat and plantains upon request. Perfectly smokey.
View was nice too. There seems to be lots of locals visiting which is a good testament to its popularity. There’s also a pool table in the middle of the restaurant. Decor was fun and neat. Overall a great stop on a roadtrip. Fair prices too

Los Gallitos is a Family Run Bar and restaurant and they treat their Customers like Family as well… They also have a Ranch with Cabins for Rent which is absolutely Amazing!! Mom and Pops quiet awesome views amazingly friendly and accommodating. $75usd a night for 2 including breakfast! Just The best breakfast I’ve had in Costa Rica. The Hotel and Lodge is 5 out of 5. Ask for Jorgé. He speaks English better than me.

We were warmly welcomed and served delicious Costa Rica Casado with BBQ ribs & chicken. The meat is smoked for 6 hours and is fabulous! They also offer vegan & vegetarian if you ask. The restaurant was once the area’s original General Store which has been renovated by the owner. The view overlooks the property for the beautiful family-owned Eco Lodge (book a stay there if you can – it will not disappoint!) Incredible food & experience!

Great meal, pork rib was smoked on the grill perfectly. We were hungry after a day of waterfall and ate everything on the plate. Rice, beans, pasta salad, pickeled cabage, and a green bean salad.
