Went in based on the high reviews so I was excited and hungry as heck. Tried the burrito Movado with asada and a couple of barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa was just OK, much better with some red salsa. The asada in the burrito simply lacked flavor. Always wondered how places slip up on something as simple as properly seasoning some meat. Salt, pepper, garlic powder and boom, there it is. I think this place could be solid with a few minor tweaks.

We just ate the green wet burrito and five carnitas tacos with the green salsa.
When I say these are the BEST tacos I’ve ever consumed, i mean it! I’ve been eating tacos since I was a kid and have eaten at over 30 different restaurants including the fast food options. These are very much worth it, the flavor was bold and delicious, the crispiness of the carnitas was perfection , the tortillas didn’t fall apart, and the salsa was to die for! The green salsa is perfect for those who can’t handle too big a kick with their spice.
The wet burrito was full of meat, so tasty and topped with cheese and sour cream. It was filling my partner up three quarters in which is saying a lot. The atmosphere was perfect, nice and quiet for me. The inside was clean and had about five tables where you can sit four average sized adults at each one.( Might’ve been five tables. ) We had to buy their salsa and chips to go because of how delicious it was! Overall a delicious meal, 100/10 would highly recommend!

For over five years, my coworkers and I have made Los Escaleras Taco Shop our go-to lunch spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious.
We can’t get enough of the tacos dorados, wet burrito, chilaquiles, and honestly anything with chicharrón. Add in friendly service, great prices, and generous portions, and you’ve got one of Orange’s best hidden gems. Always a favorite!

We found this little gem when we moved to Orange 3 years ago and get food from there at least twice a month. The people that work there are so nice, friendly and really care about their customers. Now to the food. It is excellent! The tacos and carnitas burritos are to die for. They make guacamole from scratch and it’s the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast burritos are awesome. So let’s support this local, family owned business. Times are tough for some folks, but believe me you won’t be disappointed. Their prices are really good too.

I was super excited to try this place out finally as I work over in the area. I tried the chicken sopes special and the sopes were so hard to try to chew I could not eat it in the end. I had to use a steak knife to cut it but I still could hardly chew. It was overcooked for sure I the meal is ruined. I do not have time to take it back as I work in healthcare and have to return. I am super sad. what a waste of money

I wish I had a photo to share The chicken cheese quesadilla, It was so good that I just had to finish it. Normally chicken is dry and no tear.And this had great seasoning and great flavor.
