Excellent New Mexico cuisine. Spicy hot is king here. Adovada Rib plate with chili beans was outstanding.

This was excellent. All descriptions say it’s spicy, but I found only the salsa served with the chips spicy. And it wasn’t really that spicy, just more piquant than you usually get. The food was delicious, not terribly spicy but very good. They didn’t overdose on the cheese like you often get and everything was fresh and well-made. Plus the cost is very reasonable.

Not for sissies! Been a faithful customer for about 36 years and food is consistently fresh and spicy. Service can be sketchy if training new server, but on daily basis, it is friendly and fast. New Mexican style with home made salsas, tortillas, margaritas, etc…Chavez family owned and operated.

Get the fish tacos, talapia instead of cod. Best ever. The get bread pudding. AMAZING. If you get the kick ass margarita-have a designated driver. But they’re amazing too!

Don’t be expecting some scrubbed up “Macayos” type restaurant. You come here for the food, not the decor. Their salsas wil bring tears to your eyes as will most of the other food ( in a good way ).

Ate here once & the chips were fried in rancid oil. The whole restaurant smelled of the rancid oil. Food was not good at all. One word: nasty. This is one restaurant in the area I won’t be eating at again.
