Man… I love this place. Been coming here for over 15 years and the food has always been consistently good. Beyond that, the customer service is always stellar.
Tried the new corn dip last night and it was really good. Just needs a bit more cumin, chili powder, and maybe some garlic salt to give it that authentic Elote flavor. Regardless. It was amazing and I’d order it again.
Anyway, this place is great. Sure, it’s not exactly what I’m used to on my various trips south of the border. But I still think it’s some damn good food.

Beyond amazing. The customer service is ALWAYS above and beyond. The food portions are huge and come’s out piping HOT. The presentation is really nice and the place is spotless. We come here a lot and the service, food is EXCEPTIONAL. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. We love all the employees. They are all so kind and just wonderful people. They are beyond 5 star.

Los Dos Compadres Cantina – Washougal: Mediocre Mexican With a Side of Hype
Slightly better than my first (and last) visit shortly after moving to Washougal in 2017, but that’s not saying much. I came for lunch and sat at the bar—because the dining room was inexplicably packed. After this visit, I’m still scratching my head as to why.
Let’s start with the drinks:
$9 for a Happy Hour margarita? Really? It was weak, flavorless, and honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. If there was tequila in there, it must have taken a wrong turn.
The complimentary chips and salsa were decent, and the $5 side of guacamole wasn’t bad, but the portion was laughably small for the price. More like a garnish than a side.
I went with the Taco and (2) Enchilada Combo ($15). Price was fair, but the execution? Not so much. The taco came in a prefab shell thinner than a paper napkin—completely incapable of holding its shredded beef filling. I had to inhale it before it disintegrated. The cheese and onion enchiladas were average at best, drowning in a watery sauce that clearly missed its thickening agent.
What baffles me most are the glowing 5-star reviews. Some folks are calling this the “best Mexican food” they’ve ever had. Really? If this is the best you’ve had, I don’t want to imagine the worst. Taco Bell must be Michelin-starred in your book.

Love this place. Friday night & super busy but got seated quickly. Excellent and attentive friendly service, they are so nice here. Can tell there’s a friendly working atmosphere amongst the crew because it is reflected in how they treat their guests. Authentic and memorable. It’s why we keep coming back! *Beep beep!* 😉

This place is solid! We are newer to the area and so glad to have discovered Los Dos Compadres.
Food is always fresh and served hot. We often do the fajitas (we split it) and they’re lovely. Chips and salsa is one of my favorite in the area… price is on-point and very fair for the large portions.
The staff is friendly and responsive. They are usually quick to take your order and the food comes fast.
LDCC is a great local option that we highly recommend. If you haven’t tried it, do so! They’re worth the pop-in.

This place is way bigger than it seems.. it has family dining on one half and then a huge area for bar seating as well (with pool I believe). We came with five of us and the service was great. They were very attentive and the food came out quick. The chips and salsa we great and so we’re all of our meals.

We took a drive out to Washougal and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. Great service! The Flan is not the traditional creamy dessert. It was more moist cake-like. However, the taste was INCREDIBLE!!! My husband and I will definitely be coming back!

Very interesting place, seem more like a bargain at the restaurant but we thought it was more of a restaurant and it was a bar but we were wrong. The food was OK that fajitas meat seem like very low quality beans did not taste good the salsa two versions were very watery and not that flavorful. I think this is more of a local bar with a Food.
