My husband and I were looking to visit for the first time. Snowstorm caused them to close early but they still let us place a To Go order. Was very welcoming and gave us some chips and salsa while we waited. We loved the food.

The salsa tastes and looks like marinara sauce. Everyone’s food was soggy. The appetizer sampler is just heaped up garbage on a plate, and not authentic (pretty sure deep fried jalapeno poppers aren’t traditional Mexican cuisine). I didn’t even realize the center heap was nachos until I found a few soaked and floppy tortillas that were chip shaped underneath.

Horrible service. Had a server at one point to order drinks and that was it. Never came back. After 30min of waiting, told someone else in passing that we were ready to order. He said okay and had someone else come to take it. Ordered food and after another 30min had to ask if our food was ready. Was then told it was never put in. In the meantime, a table right next to us that was seated minutes after us had ordered, ate, and paid the bill. All we were told is they would give us another drink. Did nothing to make things right.

The tacos de cabeza are incredible – I haven’t found anything as authentic or delicious anywhere else in town! The staff are always very friendly and polite, and the drive-thru pickup window is always a big plus! My first choice for tacos in Loves Park OR Rockford!

We’ve been long time customers of theirs, I can’t actually say that we’ve ever had a bad experience while visiting their establishment. The food is always good & consistent & always good customer service too. They are also a family owned business too, so we can relate to them & their business also. This is the biggest burrito I have ever had, and also one of the best! I got the king burrito with steak and ordered over the phone, the lady was very nice and helped me out very well. All around it’s a very nice place with good costumer service and even better food!
