We had a really good dinner at Los Chimas Mexican Restaurant. The place is very colorfully decorated with a nice Mexican flare. The food is very good and the portions are extremely large. They also have a wide variety of selections. Our server was first rate, very friendly and attentive.

We almost passed this place up due to the fact we thought it was closed. The windows are darker so the open sign isn’t the most noticable. I’m so glad we double checked!
Establishment was clean and roomy. We ate a bit later in the afternoon so we avoided the lunch rush, but there was still several customers in and out.
The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Our food came out quick and absolutely delicious! The shrimp tacos, were some of the best I’ve had.
We will definitely visit again, if in the area. Recommended!

They said the food is Veracruz style. This place is a hidden gem in remote Missouri. Definitely give it a try when you are driving from Chicago to Kansas City. The Baja and Shrimp tacos are to die for.

This was a welcome surprise. I ended up in Marceline to visit the Walt Disney hometown museum. I was looking for a quick bite to eat and Mexican is always my go to.
Honestly being from Colorado, I grew up with great Mexican food so wasn’t expecting a lot from this place. However I was incredibly surprised. These tacos were outstanding. The service was good. I would recommend stopping in here for a meal.
The tacos El pastor came with a soup that I hadn’t had before. It seemed to have pinto beans, bacon and maybe even A little bit of hot dog. I can’t be sure. But I will tell you that it was delicious and I would eat it again.

My wife got the tacos pastor. They were bursting with flavor! SO GOOD! Worth the trip all by itself. We will be back!

We have been regularly coming for lunch for a couple years and Los Chimas does not ever disappoint. Recently, we have had the same server , Aldo, who is incredible. He is attentive and makes excellent recommendations. We love this spot!! The food and drinks are the best Mexican food around. The service is above all expectations.
