I had chicken tacos with rice and beans. Beans were good, rice could have had more flavor. The chicken in the tacos was just cut in pieces and very dry. I was expecting shredded chicken that would be flavored from a sauce or something.

I got the Shredded beef chimichunga with the verde sauce on the side so it would stay crispier. Yummy!!! It’s huge. Enough for two meals really unless you are really hungry. It came with chips and salsa. Also good. And beans and rice. Would definitely get again.

I can easily say this was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The molcajete was so unique and delicious—it says serves 2 but there was plenty for 3! Also, to see waitstaff actually enjoy their jobs and have fun while working shows how great the work environment is. This is due to how management runs things and they clearly know what they are doing. I don’t know of it was the manager or an owner, but the lady that helped us was very involved on the floor and she was always laughing and joking with the staff. It was refreshing to experience! They recently released their new drink menu and the Cantarito was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOS CERRITOS!
