Great Ceviche:)
While in town for work I was hungry for some Ceviche…. I found it and got it to go. The Ceviche was delicious. Flavorful and the chips and salsa were perfect. I’d say you get enough for two to share. Nice quaint restaurant, amazing friendly staff (took my order over the phone) and it was ready by the time I drove there in six minutes.
I will be back again.

This was the second time at Los Carnales and both times were so yummy! The first time my husband got the Molcajete and asked for it in the authentic molcajete stone bowl and it was amazing!! This time we got the fajitas Hawaii and the birria. So yummy and authentic! We highly recommend. It is definitely a hole in the wall, casual vibe but I hope this place sticks around. I’ve always been hesitant to try the new restaurants that pop up in this space but Los Carnales was amazing! Please go give them a shot! (I was surprised to see some negative reviews, because my family and I had wonderful food here! And my husband is Mexican so he knows good Mexican food haha.) also the prices are great!!!

Food had no flavor and was cold. The flavor that was there tasted stale. Dining room was dirty as soon as we walked in and the server acted lazy and like he didn’t want to be there. The food was definitely not fresh and the service was a 2/10. On top of the dining room being dirty, the smell of it or the food was not pleasant. Would not recommend to anyone.

I put in a phone order for Quesadillas Texanas and some other food for my family. Drove thirty minutes to pick it up, picked up the food in a tied bag. Took it back home and opened it up only to find that I received Fajitas Texanas instead of Quesadillas. I called in to let them know about it and they apologized and said they would make it fresh for me. So I drove back thirty minutes only for them to give me a Cheese Quesadilla. They expected me to just put the fajitas in the quesadilla and call it good!

I love Los Carnales! This has become a regular stop for me. I’ve eaten here several times and the food is consistently fresh, abundant, deliciously presented and tasty. Also, the staff are professional and polite. 5+ Stars!!

If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience in Sumter, South Carolina, Los Carnales Authentic Mexican Restaurant on Broad Street is a must-visit! From the moment you pull into their spacious, clean parking lot with plenty of spots, you know you’re in for a treat.
Inside, the large dining room is impeccably clean with spotless tables and floors. The family-run staff greets you with warmth and friendliness, making you feel right at home. Their commitment to freshness shines through in every dish they prepare.
I indulged in one of my favorites, the Taco Birria Queso version—what I like to call the “French Dip” of tacos, complete with a little bowl of deliciousness for dipping. It was truly one of the best I’ve ever had, bursting with flavor.
The dessert menu is surprisingly extensive for a Mexican restaurant, filled with tempting options. Vegetarian dishes, a lunch menu, appetizers, quesadillas, burritos, specials, chicken, steak, street tacos, kids’ meals, and a big seafood menu—Los Carnales has something for everyone.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed! #LosCarnales #AuthenticMexican #SumterSC #FoodieFavorites #FamilyRun #TacoBirria #DeliciousDining

Very tasty! I loved how many options they had for street tacos compared to the other Mexican restaurants in town. Will definitely be back to try other menu options.

The chili carnita was great and I loved how simple it was. Too many times we can have much seasoning on food to hide the lack of quality. But this was on point.
