Holy moly, if you’re in Giddings this a place you absolutely cannot miss! Enchiladas de Mar, Chile rellenó with shrimp…ALL full of shrimp! Pollo Poblano was amazing and they had this spinach queso that was just so good. Seriously, stop by and see Rudy at Los Caporales; I promise you will not be disappointed! Sorry you see my partially eaten food, I had to dig right in!

Stopped here on our way back from Port A and we were not disappointed. I was in the restaurant industry for 20+ years in the DFW market. We have tried so many different restaurants. This place is what I remember restaurants being like. The serving sizes were generous, the food was delicious, the service was good, and the prices were FAIR! We highly recommend!!!!!

The food in this place is excellent!! A friend and I just happened to find this place as a halfway point between us. I’m in Houston and they are in Sam Marcos. You will definitely leave here full, if you order the right meal. My fajita platter was well seasoned and delicious. However, my guest’s enchiladas was bland and looked unappealing. I rated based on my own plate though. The staff/ manager was very welcoming and friendly. I’d try this place again!!

We eat at this place multiple times a week. It starts off with prompt service and then on to good food. Rudy, the owner, makes you feel very welcome. Everything I’ve had has been great, especially the Jalepano Chicken!
