I had a great experience at Los Campos Mexican Restaurant in Yadkinville, NC. I was seated quickly and placed my drink order, and the chips and salsa arrived promptly with my drink—fast and friendly service from the start.
I ordered the Carne Asada Fries, which were excellent—crispy, flavorful, and generously topped. Next, I tried the ACP, and the chicken was incredibly tender and well-seasoned. For dessert, I had the Chimichanga Cheesecake with whipped cream, berry, and caramel drizzle—fantastic presentation and even better taste.
The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The restaurant itself was clean with plenty of spacious seating. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Never had a bad meal. Service is always phenomenal and genuine. For being in a small town, the menu is highly varied and all items are cooked well. Well priced, great flavor, very generous on chips and salsa (which are also excellent). A great unique mexican restaurant for Yadkin. Deserves all the business it can get!!

Others complained about the wait, forgetting this is a new restaurant and that it is a Friday night and half the town is wanting to try it out. From arrival in the parking lot to food on the table, it was somewhere just over an hour. It gave us time to slow down and just enjoy being out as a family on a Friday night. The salsa was spicier than we are used to, and also there was more cilantro. I know, people are really picky about their salsa. My son doesn’t like spicy food, but he kept going back for more! The food was exquisite! We shared a chori pollo, and it was perfection! The chicken was tender, and the chorizo was flavorful but not overly salty. Lots of different workers checked on us for refills, and if everything was okay with the food. It felt like good teamwork among the workers since it wasn’t just our assigned waitress checking on us. It was a great experience for us overall, and we will be back to dine-in and order to-go in the future.

We ate at Los Campos twice this weekend and enjoyed it very much both times (once dining in and once as take out). Tacos Locos Barbacoa was absolutely yummy and very filling. I loved the chipotle queso drizzled on it. The Burrito Al Pastor was huge and excellent too. Our server was super sweet and attentive for the dine in meal, and everything was packaged well for take out. Chips were still warm when we got home. The salsa was outstanding.

I’ve been twice so far. Once for drinks and 2nd for drinks and food. Both times, I was waited on by Saul. My food was really good, the Chicken has a really good flavor.

The weirdest, hardest, most uncomfortable seating ever in a restaurant. Cold cheese dip, overdone chips cooked in old oil, really good salsa. $14 ground beef burrito had no sauce or cheese on top and meat tasted spoiled . When I said something about it, was told that it was because I just wasn’t used to Mexican meat. I love ground beef burritos at any other restaurant but this was truly gross. Server was very nice but will not be back due to way overpriced, nasty food.

We came to this restaurant for lunch to celebrate a new hire and as soon as we got there we sat down, there’s was nobody in the restaurant and the tables were dirty with plates everywhere and the waitress never cleaned them up. We asked for a cheese dip and it was cold, our steak had this funny taste it was totally not what we were expecting and don’t recommend.

A friend recommended it to me so figured I’d give it a shot and let me say I’m glad I did!
Upon walking in I noticed all the nice scenery and atmosphere inside. The solid wood tables and chairs with the designs look very good!
A gentleman took my drink order then a lovely young lady brought me chips and salsa and the guacamole I ordered then she took my order for food. I ordered the lunch 2 enchiladas special with chicken enchiladas, rice and beans.
Now let’s talk about the salsa and guacamole. The salsa is very mild with little heat, but has really good flavor. Personally I like more hot salsa, but I didn’t ask for anything hotter due to how good flavor the mold salsa had. The guacamole was a chunky style with tomatoes, onions etc in it and it was also very good and a reasonable amount for the price in my opinion.
Now for the main coarse. The enchiladas were covered in a red sauce and filled with chicken. I’m not a giant fan of the red sauce at most places, but here it was actually really good!! The rice tasted fresh and had decent flavor although could’ve had a little more, but still good! The beans were excellent!! Honestly they’re probably the best beans I’ve had anywhere and that’s saying a lot considering we love Mexican food!
The service was very good and everyone was friendly.
Overall I’m very glad I stopped in for lunch and I will definitely recommended it to others and will be back!!
Stop in and give them a try next time you’re in the area!!
