This is our go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in the Cedar Valley. They have consistent excellent service and food in an authentic south-of-the-border decor. The outdoor seating offers the best dining view in downtown Cedar Falls.

We went with friends and they were happy with their meal so it may have just been what we ordered. We were billed incorrectly and had to get that straightened out. Nice atmosphere inside, but not particularly impressed with the service.

Great location. Right on Main Street with access to many other tourist places.
Good Mexican food.
Ok service. But not attentive. A bit slow to be honest A bit hard to understand the waitress since she kept adding Spanish to her speaking. But it’s cute.
Beautiful decor. Interior feels a bit cramp.

Pricing a hit on the upper side.
Plenty of parking in the back.
Convenient with front and back entrance to the restaurant.

Ambience – good
People understand your requests perfectly .
Being vegetarian, I am reviewing only for veg eaters .
Crowd was pretty decent , they have outdoor seating during summers .
Indoor seating as the Mexican vibes .
Enchiladas were perfect ,
There was a combo which we ordered , which was best and sufficient for two ,
Ofcourse had to explain bit hard to person who took order due to vegetarian requests.
A great yes if you are looking for good food / healthy meal 🙂

The Birria Burrito is excellent this is something I make sure I enjoy at least twice every trip I make to cedar falls Iowa. The chips and queso are great as well. Very authentic well made food you have to try that burrito!

On a nice day like we had, it’s better to sit outside, people watch, & eat. There was a margarita deal & all the margaritas were delish. We had the queso dip as a starter and then multiple entrees that were all devoured. The server was attentive.

About a year ago we went and had a decent meal but when we got out ticket we were charged for 2 salsas. We asked if they have free chips and salsa and were told they did but only one salsa was free. So that little 1/4 cup of watered down salsa was free…. UGH so much for this place. I know it sounds petty but DO NOT SAY you have free chips and salsa without actually giving your customers free chips and salsa! Its a pretty simple concept. But I will thank the waitress for not telling us about it until the end since she paid for it out of her tip or lack of tip we left her at the end. To the owner STOP BEING CHEAP or you will lose more of your customers until you are out of business!

Awesome Server.He made absoloutely sure he had all our needs were met. The food was excellent. He brought us a Birthday Dessert to Share& The Staff Serenaded us the Happy Birthday song! Very enjoyable.

It’s always a great time at Los Cabos. The owner is very friendly and knows the regular customers. The food comes out very quickly and the servers are friendly. It is one of my favorite mexican restaurants.
