Abject mediocrity. Service was great but what I can’t understand is why people line up to have this Tex-Mex slop shoveled down their necks. Why can’t someone have a Mexican restaurant in the Roswell rd corridor that serves good Mexican food? All my food arrived on a 900 degree plate but the food was all cold. The burrito and enchilada was wrapped in some kind of bleached tar paper tortilla that NO stamped, non-serrated knife could possibly cut through. The tamale was ok but just ok. The alternative, TJs is almost as bad. Take a lesson from some good places like the ones in Sandy Springs or Atlanta and offer something that is at best, digestible.

Several years back, I dined at this restaurant and it was a truly awful experience. As a person of color who has resided in East Cobb for more than two decades, I have never encountered such disrespect in a restaurant before. The staff and the waiter greeted me with such rudeness and condescension. I ordered a substantial amount of food, only to be hurried through my meal without being able to savor it. The staff constantly checked on me, making me feel like I was being watched and profiled. I observed how the staff treated their white customers with such warmth and hospitality, while they seemed eager to push me out the door as quickly as possible. I felt unwelcome and pressured as I finished my meal. The discomfort was so overwhelming that I requested the check, took my food to go, and ate at home. I would advise against visiting this establishment if you are African-American or a member of the queer LGBT community. However, if you are white, you will undoubtedly have a pleasant experience and receive friendly treatment from the staff. I wish I could say the same for myself and the way I was treated.

This restaurant has the best food and margaritas! Great outdoor patio seating, too! I ordered the Bravos Plate (Texas) which is chicken, steak, and shrimp over rice and covered in cheese dip. Also, on second visit, lunch fajitas… chicken… DELICIOUS!
