Absolutely wonderful experience at Los Aztecas 2! Karen, our waitress, was amazing — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. The pozole was fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Great service, great food, and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming here! I have been to the original Los Aztecas in Eldersburg multiple times, and I was very excited to hear that they were opening another location closer to my home. Since the grand opening, we have been coming here at least once per month. The food is fantastic, the house margaritas are delicious, and the desserts are great too! This is a great place to bring the family and kids. I always see Pato when we come here. He’s always kind, attentive, and ready to help. His service is above and beyond our expectations! He even checks on us when he’s not our server! Overall, this is our favorite place to go out to eat!

My wife and I share birthdays the same week in January, so we gathered 14 family members together at Los Aztecas II in Mt. Airy last night. A few of us have had prior dinning experience at LAII and we wanted other family to share what we know to be an exceptional Mexican food experience for our BDays. LAII was spot on Sunday evening. Everyone in our party was truly impressed with the food, drinks, service and cool atmosphere. From the extra delicious chips and great salsa (they should sell the salsa commercially) to the varied entres we all had, everyone raved… I mean they were really impressed with the food! We are well experienced with Mexican quizine and I don’t give reviews unless it is well deserved, good or bad. Our experience, every time we go, has left us with a strong desire to return so that we can try other dishes on the extensive menu. I also want to give a shout out to our server Jazmine, who handled our party of 14 with ease and grace. Thank you LAII for another superb evening of fun and exceptional food and service.

We started with sweet plantains that were perfectly caramelized—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For the main course, we enjoyed tacos de birria, which were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice, along with steak and shrimp fajitas that were sizzling hot and cooked to perfection.
To top it all off, we tried both a frozen margarita and a house margarita. The frozen margarita was smooth and refreshing, while the house margarita had a perfect balance of tart and sweet. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with great drinks and a welcoming vibe, Los Aztecas II is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The food was ok. I gave this place a second chance after a CO worker recommended it. I went there the first time when it had opened and than this time when they reopened. The drinks were very strong. However the food not the greatest we got nachos (complimentary) and they were very hard. My fiancee couldn’t eat them. His food was decent but he couldn’t lift his burrito without it breaking. I had also ordered 3 tacos there was no taco seasoning, and the cheese was super cold like it didn’t melt with the meat. Overall I probably won’t come back.

Best carne asada quesadilla in the world. They don’t cut it, so it’s a different experience than your typical quesadilla, but the flavor is insane. I come 1-2 times a month, I’m sure the menu has other good options, but why fix it if it isn’t broke. The carne asada quesadilla 100/10 cannot recommend enough. The service and atmosphere here are also superb. It is truly the complete experience. Come here and order the carne asada quesadilla. Trust me

By far our favorite go to restaurant! Fantastic service (our favorite is Pato), but everyone is wonderful. The food never disappoints. The margaritas will forever keep us coming back, but every dish we’ve tried has been amazing. A must try… again and again!

Stopped in last night for dinner with three others. We shared a couple of appetizers and ordered four entrées. If possible, I’d give 4.8 stars since one dish wasn’t as hot as preferred, but the table guacamole was outstanding, so I’m giving five stars. Would definitely visit again.

Great food and great margaritas. The server, Eduardo, is very attentive and friendly. Definitely a place I try to make it to 1-2 times a month, everything is always very consistent and worth the cost.
