I just moved here a couple months ago and was looking for a Mexican Restaurant. The food was so delicious, the waitress was very friendly, and the price was very reasonable along with a great atmosphere. The owner’s brother introduced himself very friendly and nice as well. I will definitely recommend this place and go back.

Went for the tacos stayed for the burger! Who would’ve thought that a Mexican taco place would have the best burger in town? This place rocks! Their burger is hands down better than Paradise Pup’s. The chefs in the back definitely know what they’re doing when making this burger. Their bun is nice toasted yet still has a nice soft texture to it when you bite into it. The surprise and stars of the show is the avocado and grill onion they add to it, it makes the burger taste out of this world. It’s a double cheeseburger but with mozzarella cheese. You have to try this burger!

This new Mexican restaurant is a positive addition to the city of Des Plaines. The staff was so nice and greeted us warmly. The place is immaculate which is so important to me.
We stopped in on a Wednesday, and the special was $2 tacos, so we had tacos of various sorts. It’s nice that you can have a choice of different taco shells because some places don’t offer a choice. I prefer hard shells and they had them. The salsa verde was mild and I like that. I know we will return.

My wife and I were craving burgers so I decided to try this place out after remembering a review that said their burger was good. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a letdown. It just wasn’t good and they use frozen patties so don’t expect anything amazing. I also ended up with extra fries because I didn’t realize they came with the burger – a little heads up would have been nice.

Decided to check out Lis Azares, the dining room was bustling and there was a steady stream of hungry folks.
We all enjoyed our plates, I tried to share my barbaco, but no one wanted to share theirs because it’s that good. Delicious flavors in every bite, only downside is they had no sweets to finish.
Well be back so we can try more things on the menu, they serve breakfast too.

The food was average, not great, not bad – but the service was abysmal!! You pay first & then they bring the food to the table afterwards. When we got our food they gave us ONE NAPKIN EACH when there isn’t a napkin dispenser on the table?!? How cheap is that?!? After we got our food, the server didn’t check on us or the other three couples dining, ever again. I had to walk up to the counter to ask for more napkins, and then again to get a box for our leftovers. Plus, the cashier and the cook were yelling at each other the whole time we were there, despite being less than ten feet from each other, and when they weren’t yelling at each other, the cashier had her phone on speaker and was yelling at someone else! Will NOT be returning and do NOT recommend. I can get comparable or better food elsewhere, somplace without all the screaming & where you aren’t ignored after your money is taken.

My husband and I came here 3 times and the service was consistently excellent. Hugo is super friendly and others are also polite and prompt. We had their tacos, burritos, nachos, and cheese burger. Their cheeseburger is epic! It’s a double with avocado and grilled onions and it comes with fries for $8.99. It’s an amazing deal. Their salsa is flavorful and chips come out warm. Everything we tried has been delicious.
