At the prices definitely was expecting better food. My friends lobster was opaque/ under cooked and good potato with everything was cold in the middle. We don’t often sene back food however the lobster wasn’t edible. When we did send it back we got the notorious “dump it in a microwave for a few minutes to heat things up”. The lobster still came back not all prepared but at least the potato was warm. Ordered my steak med well and received medium rare aka the center was still cold. The broccoli was delicious and the probably the best out of the entire experience.

This restaurant was way better than it looked in the pictures. They had a great wine list and we really enjoyed our experience, however the food was not good.

The plating of the sirloin steak was clumsy and something that you would expect at a home dinner table. All they needed to do was to mould the rice in a ramekin. And the broccoli could have been a little less cooked and dipped in ice water to retain the bright green colour. The steak was tasteless and overcooked. The chilli poppers were awesome. The Caesar salad was a disappointment, however I did like the addition of toasted almonds in there. Wayyyyy too much Parmesan.

Our waitress Marisol was amazing and super attentive. She didn’t pour our wine for us, but that could just have been an oversight.

It was great to have the manager come by and to check on us. This kind of service is rare in the USA.

Some soft background music would have added to the atmosphere.

I will never tire of coming to Los Arcos. Savory dishes, prepared fresh and a dish to fit every palate. Salmon always cooked to flaky perfection. Staff always pleasant and polished. I never feel rushed when dining there. I am a loyal customer and always stop in to eat when time allows. Thank you Los Arcos for your dining experience and consistency.

Stopped in this week for an anniversary dinner. It was our first time at Los Arcos. They have a good wine selection. We both had steak dinners, she had the sirloin and prawns and I had the prime rib. All the food was delicious. We received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary celebration. Our waitress Salina was awesome!! She was knowledgeable, respectful and had a beautiful smile. The atmosphere was fairly quiet, we were able to have an easy conversation. We would dine here again.

This place was so cute. Very comfortable and nice. With out that corporate atmosphere. The owner greeted us and asked about our day. The food was phenomenal down to the last bite. This was the perfect meal after our spa day. It was definitely worth the extra calories for the mud pie , for dessert. Great worth wild trip to Truth or Consequences.

Mike the waiter was wonderful. Asked for burger medium and came out ready for the U.S. Hockey team practice, even the bun was burnt. The fries were ok, was offered a dessert but all saliva was depleted choking down the burger.

Los Arcos is a gem.

I’m just passing through—staying one night at one of the hot spring hotels—and I was utterly charmed and enchanted by the quality of the food and the kindness and down-to-earthness of the service.

I came in around 7:30, sat on the patio in the bar because it was quieter, and ordered a 9-ounce filet, medium rare, with a baked potato, a Caesar salad to start, and an Arnold Palmer.

The Arnold Palmer was the best I’ve ever had: not too sweet, just the right amount of iced tea with a tiny splash of lemonade. Perfect.

The Caesar salad was terrific, and then the filet… all I can say is the quality of the meat was out of this world and the preparation was perfection. Buttery and exceptional, with a perfect sear and perfect temperature—and they didn’t over-season it or try to dress it up with a bunch of butter and extras. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for steakhouse meals that didn’t come close to this.

The baked potato was delicious. I had it simple: a bit of butter, sour cream, and chives. I also had sautéed broccoli with a little hollandaise/béarnaise, and it was excellent.

I didn’t ask about dessert because I was so full, but I did take food to go for my husband, who wasn’t feeling great back at the hotel: another filet, another Caesar, and a double order of the broccoli with hollandaise. I’m sure he’ll be sad he missed it fresh out of the kitchen, but I cannot recommend this place well enough.

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, cozy, and the food is top, top tier. A+ all the way. Loved it.

The service, the food quality, the staff attitude, the price, everything was terrible and I’d rather eat at the awesome A&B drive in than here again. From the start the host that seated us just pointed to where we should sit after mumbling something barely audible. There was a crowded loud restaurant and a drunken table of 4 loud women dining near so the atmosphere was anxiety inducing. The food came fast probably because it was precooked and sitting under a heat lamp. The prime rib was sold out at 630pm so I got the sirloin and crab combo instead. My husband got two tails of lobster which was offered as the “small or large”…literally just say 1 or 2 tails. Small or large implies ounces of lobster tail like ounces of steak. Everything involving Seafood was listed as “market price”, whatever, we’re on vacation. Both of the lobster tails and my sirloin were overcooked, understand seasoned and tough, even the baked potato and the rice were less than average and definitely didnt match the expected quality for the price. “Large” (aka 2) lobster tails was $90 and sirloin and crab (A SINGLE CRAB LEG) WAS $110. ARE YOU SERIOUS? We didnt even eat one of the lobster tails because it was so bad and declined a to-go box and NOT ONCE did the waitress ask why half my $110 plate and half my husband’s $90 plate was uneaten or if we enjoyed the meal. If someone were to tell me “its expensive because its seafood in the middle of the desert” or “what did you expect from seafood in the desert” … I live in the middle of the desert and have had way better seafood. 90% of the places that serve seafood in the US are cooking seafood that was frozen at some point since it was harvested from the sea. We honestly should have taken that first bite and walked out had we known how expensive it was going to be and how tough, cold and tasteless the food was. They also don’t offer military discount so they don’t support veterans and with how much they charge and what they’re serving they really could afford to do that. I’ve paid less at Ruth Chris for higher quality, better atmosphere, and better service!

A meal worth enjoying. The place is spotless. The menu has what you want. For real. The service is splendid, the atmosphere is rustic and the climate control system makes the meal comfortable.

The house salad is simple and satisfying. The wine selection is reasonable. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the flavor is sumptuous.

Give it a go.
