Los Amigos is the most authentic Mexican you’ll get in Maryville. They’ve been in the area for a while and it shows with the amount of families that come in and are greated like family by the owners. I’ve many items on the menu and often I forget to take photos before I devour my plate! You will not be disappointed if you give them a try if youre in the area.

I had the Carne Asada recently and it was delicious as usual. They’ve also got spicier sauce if you ask for it .

The place is mom and pop sized so you may have to wait if you come during lunch during the week as many local businesses like to frequent this place for lunch.

Hands down, the absolute BEST Mexican food I have ever had in my life! The best salsa, it’s so fresh and flavorful. I got the shrimp enchiladas and it was so freaking good!!! Everything is just so flavorful and authentic, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Highly recommend!

Love this place! We come every time we visit the area. We can’t find anything anywhere that comes close to the deliciousness of the Salsa Verde Burrito. The Beef Chimichanga is also one of our favorites. The owners and staff are great people committed to offering delicious food and quality care for your dining experience. Highly recommend!

It cost $45 to try this highly over rated restaurant. The server was efficient, but never asked about our food. The atmosphere was fine. The chips were sl. burnt. The chicken in the chicken burrito was almost non-existent. There was more lettuce than chicken. The beef in the enchilada and taco had a peculiar, very unpleasant flavor rendering them inedible. The beef had a slight smoked flavor, but that was overpowered by an almost spoiled taste. One taste of each was more than enough for my wife, and I tried and confirmed the off flavor of the beef. Ugh.

This place was super busy and for good reason! Service was quick and food was delicious (super large portions). Seems like everyone knows each other! Located right next to the park so we were able to enjoy a sunset walk after eating.

Was craving Mexican and noticed the sign out front mentioning they have been open 1988 and thought we’d give it a try. Great service, hot delicious food. Super clean. Our server was fantastic!

Just moved to the area and was crazing some Mexican food and I’m so glad I decide to eat here because now it’s a regular. The food is AMAZING, the staff is incredibly nice and the atmosphere is great. I love their salsa and their Chile relleno, margaritas, enchiladas… honestly just about everything. I haven’t had a bad or even mid meal, it’s all been great. Totally recommend to everyone.

The food here is fantastic. However, after my last visit a few weeks ago I don’t think I will be back for dine-in. After a while I might try getting take-out just because the shrimp enchiladas are seriously that good.

The service from the entire front-of-house staff was abysmal. As soon as we were seated, the hostess/server asked about drinks and I attempted to order a daiquiri (note that this is a menu item, not a special request) and she responded by looking me in the eyes and saying “Sprite?” – I quickly gave up trying to communicate this and just ordered a sweet tea because “daiquiri” and “Sprite” are nowhere close to each other and I didn’t want to argue about it and make a scene. I did get a sweet tea after asking for that, so that was fine and wouldn’t have been a big deal on its own.

That interaction was already odd, but the experience got progressively worse. Despite the restaurant not being busy in-house at the time we arrived, I couldn’t tell you who our server actually was because we encountered several different people and were rushed throughout our meal. The peak of this was a different server/hostess choosing to move empty tables around us to accommodate a large party in a way that blocked us into a corner of the restaurant, and forced my wife to move next to me because she could no longer sit across from me without that party touching her. This table rearrangement also partially blocked the exit to the side room we were seated in. There were tables available elsewhere in the restaurant and there was absolutely no reason to block us in as well as create a hazard by obscuring the path to the exit. At the end of this already awful experience there was then a significant wait for us and another small party to even pay for our food, because nobody was present at the register.

I understand (and desperately hope) this was probably just an off night for the staff, but frankly the experience was bad enough I would not want to try dining in ever again.

The food was absolutely amazing, with the beef nachos being a standout – incredibly delicious and highly recommended. The service was exceptionally friendly, caring, and quick!

Side note:
We were halfway through eating the nachos because they were so good! lol
