“Mexican food”
Don’t let the race behind the food fool you, if you think this place is good, you must have not tried anywhere else.
They’re nice but do they get my order correct? No
Maybe I don’t want to call and speak in Spanish. Maybe I want my husband to be able to order our meal and expect it to come as advertised. No, hit or miss here. Depends who’s cooking? shouldn’t be an excuse.
First time, I called and ordered, no issue
Second time, I door dashed out of convenience and my order did not come out like it did when I called
Third time I ordered, they didn’t sub my hot dog beans for regular refried beans like I had requested and if request was unavailable it said to contact me, which they didn’t. They gave me small tortillas with barely any carne/meat and they gave me like equal amounts cilantro and onion just because asked for it doesn’t mean be sarcastic and over put the amount on my food like I said last time it came on the side. So they left out the jalapeños clearly states in door dash that the order comes with. And they left out the red grilled onion it was supposed to come with as well. I called and was offered a cheeseburger bros are racist or something because if I wanted a burger I’ll go to McDonald’s next to the Kum & go. I order Mexican food from you for a reason I want tacos and burritos so why offer me a cheeseburger Rafael or Jose. No soy Feliz. Gracias no gracias
That’s an inconvenience that you cannot clearly type your order and have it made 100% correct

They forgot cilantro, cebolla, and tomatillo salsa on my burrito but the server walked it out to my vehicle to me as I was buckling my seat belt which was I appreciated that however wish my instructions were read correctly the first time to avoid situations like this. I still highly recommend this place. They still deserve a 5 star for service, food, cleanliness, and most of all AUTHENTICITY‼️

I like the use of local advertising for other businesses in Stuart. Great idea.
It’s set up kind of weird, not necessarily a bad thing. Smaller space and smaller parking lot. We got right in for a table of 6 on Friday at 730 though.
Ordering took a little time and our orders got switched around, but we sorted it out amongst ourselves.
The taco salad Ranchero was huge and divine.

No Draft Beers. Food was not served very hot. Most Mexican restaurants heat the plates up. This place did NOT. The waiter never asked how my food was. Was more concerned about his buddies at the bar. I won’t be coming back.

I always drove past this place. I decided to stop today. I’m glad I did. Usually I am not impressed by any Mexican restaurant. The food here impressed me. The meat was a tad too salty but the rest was very good. I will stop again for sure when I am in town.

If you’re truckin’ across I-80 and you’re craving some fantastic Mexican food, stop off for delicious and authentic food at Los Altos! The Fajita Hawaiiyana, Pollo Poblano, and Pollo Cancun were definite crowd pleasers—sooo good! The whole family was satisfied.

Ended up here on a chance meeting. Was pleasantly surprised. For a small town Watering Hole just off the freeway, it was a good place to have a bite to eat.
The margaritas were decent. Also enjoyed the chili verde very much. Had just a right amount of zip to it but also with a fairly authentic flavor.
One thing they could have been better was the salsa. I felt like it was watered down, and it lacked a depth of flavor.
The place inside was quite friendly and clean.
Would definitely come back again.
