We had heard about this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to get takeout. We had a big order and they got everything right and were also able to take away some margaritas. We really enjoyed the quality of the food. I got the Mexicana enchiladas and probably could have eaten a whole other their order of them. They were great. My daughter had the carnitas. Nachos were very good.

The bottom line is that the food was good and it had a nice atmosphere. I stopped here while traveling for work, and like I usually do, tried the local Mexican restaurant. They didn’t serve Dos Equis Amber, despite having 8 beers on tap and more in the cooler, which simply baffled me. Also, I would have loved some guacamole on the Supreme Burrito. I’m definitely being picky here, but those two items are why they got 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a hidden gem in Athol. The staff here are hard working and very friendly. The food is consistently excellent. I had the Michalada and it was as advertised (now I know it’s not for me). There is a lot of paid parking along the street. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

First, the good news: Service was spot on (“Shain”), and I liked that several of the staff smiled and said “Thank you for coming!” on our way out. I like that.
But… The food was bland and uninspired. First clue was the super hot plates the food was served on. I used to work in restaurants, so I know that either means it was microwaved, or sat under a heat lamp for a long time. (I’ll go with MW for this occasion.) I am so disappointed, having read glowing reviews of the pollo mole and other dishes. Maybe people think Mexican food should taste like what you got in the HS cafeteria?
And – OMG, why am I getting a frozen mug for my drink? I ordered a beer, not a Frappuccino!
The place was quite busy on a Tuesday evening, so all I can guess is that there aren’t many good restaurants in Athol. Next time I’m driving through the town and hungry, I’ll hold out until I get to Greenfield or Northampton. *sigh*.

My shrimp bowl tasted pretty good but their guacamole was thinned out, maybe with sour cream, to make it look like there was a lot. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and given the reasonable prices it was good value.

Always have the best food and drinks here. Super friendly service and big portions. Literally the only good food in town besides Asia gourmet and topsys but this is hands down our favorite. Tried the shrimp ceviche for the first time today and was blown away. Can’t go wrong with this menu. Didn’t get the spicy margarita this time but they do have the best ones I’ve ever tried as well. Also best Guac I’ve ever had. Love this place. Thank you for being here

We were just passing through this quaint little town and decided to stop in…Delicious! I had the Agaves chicken salad and my husband had the enchiladas topped with eggs. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The staff was very attentive and kind! Oh and the in-house made mango salad dressing should be bottled and sold!

First time in and everything was delicious. It is authentic Mexican food and exactly what we craved. Yes covid has put a damper on all restaurants but the food is so worth it. A must try and I can not wait to try another item on the menu.

Travellers, this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant in downtown Athol. It has charming decor, pleasant staff, and delicious food. The menu has a lot to offer. All classics and everything you would expect on the menu. A full bar so you can have cocktails too. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. We got our order in less than 15 minutes. Everything we ordered was terrific. The burrito frisson was excellent. The cheese dip is delicious and the Camarones Mexicano was also delicious. The portions were large. This is a wonderful addition to downtown. If you are in the area check it out. We recommend.
