Airy Mexican joint with rustic wall art & a wraparound bar serves familiar grub & potent margaritas.

This was a nice surprise coming here since it wasn’t planned and they did not disappoint!! The bartender, Omar was so sweet and attentive. And he’s easy on the eyes he helped us select our meals and we were highly please. Try the ceviche and chicken quesadillas!! The strawberry margaritas (2 for 1) and the yeah tequila and coke were great! Pricing was perfect! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Randomly ended up at this restaurant, and what a pleasant surprise! The staff was welcoming, the margaritas (2-for-1!) were delicious, and so was the food! I had a Chile relleno and a ground beef enchilada–yum! The chips and salsa were also so good. I’d go back here for sure.

I went to Los Agaves on Thursday evening for drinks with a friend. While they don’t have a traditional happy hour, they do offer happy hour bites and their margaritas are available all day, which worked perfectly for us. We sat at the bar and enjoyed margaritas, along with the complimentary chips and salsa, which are always fresh and flavorful. We also ordered a side of guacamole, and it did not disappoint.
The service here is consistently good, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. I don’t live particularly close, but this is still a go-to spot when I’m in the mood for a solid margarita and great chips and salsa. I’ve also had dinner here before and have always enjoyed the food. No complaints at all. It’s always busy, the staff is kind, and it’s a reliable, enjoyable stop every time.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s an up & down restaurant. Sometimes the food & service is great. Other times is ok or bad. Today, the service was slow and impersonal. The food was ok. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately the food was bland. I ordered the fajita trio (steak, chicken and shrimp) and the tastest meat was the shrimp and it tasted like… raw shrimp. The chips and salsa… the chips were overcooked.
Just not worth the money. Again its unfortunate but Id spend your money elsewhere.

The restaurant was clean and very nice. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating.
The food was delicious, very well-presented, and came out fast.
I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant and definitely try the frozen margaritas.

Los Agaves has become one of Royal Palms stalwart, go-to restaurants offering large portions of classic Northern Mexican cuisine in a festive, if not over-the-top, atmosphere. The food and service at Los Agaves are reliably good, and a meal here is bound to be affordable and satisfying.
The menu is full of dishes that will be familiar to anyone who has eaten at a Mexican restaurant over the last forty years. There’s the expected selection of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas and fajitas rounded out by more complete dinners featuring grilled or roasted meats, all served with sides of refried beans and Mexican rice.
While the menu offerings and style of the surroundings might feel a bit outdated to some customers, the food’s quality and value combined with the folksy feel of the restaurant mean that Los Agaves remains a solid choice for an everyday meal or special outing with the family.

Just finished eaten here. Amazing service, server was niece explained food options. Great menu options. Not disappointed, niece prices and delicious food. The best Mexican restaurant I have try in the area. The food was not over season, neither too greasy, neither salty. Some of my concern from other Mexican restaurants I have try. i have two suggestion I would give is to serve chips with sour cream and salsa, they only give salsa. Also, the restaurants owner should get more creative when it comes to singing happy birthday, maybe someone dress up as a mariachi, or singing a part in spanish and some in english. I feel like the serving team had low energy when singing happy birthday. The public would appreciate more energy and creativity. Overall, I had an amazing experience.
