First time in. It’s a very cute cafe next to a gas station. We walked in and the place was packed. We had a seat and the server was over with meus quickly.
We both ordered cheeseburgers, but I opted for a single and my husband got a double bacon. He got regular fries and I got tots. The food came out pretty fast and was so good! The tots are the best I’ve had yet, and my burger was perfect.
We both ate as much as we could handle. The bill was very reasonable and the service was great! We’ll visit again in April when the cafe opens back up.

First time we stopped there it was closed on our way to Bar harbor, second time on the way back to Portland it was open, great food great atmosphere love the signs on the walls especially in the bathroom. Very friendly people very welcoming

Food was great! Prices were really good considering its location. I live in Belfast and can spend a lot more on a meal here then I did these. Very satisfied. And when you are done there is a great ice cream place a few feet away.

Loved Lori’s fresh and homemade breakfast I stopped for coming back on a long drive from a trip. The special with basil scrambled eggs over cornbread was interesting and fresh!! Coffee was filled, friendly/genuine staff too! I would go out of my way for this cute roadside stop if I’m up in central Maine again soon

Perfect small town diner experience. Food and service were great. Only suggestion is to offer a single serving of real maple syrup for an up charge. The fake stuff just doesn’t get the job done 😉

Lori’s Cafe is a charming, family owned cafe that serves up the most delicious homemade pastries and pies! Each treat is made with love and attention to detail! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly waitstaff who make you feel right at home. Recently, we visited Lori’s and the restaurant was packed! We were greeted by Lori with a big smile. I mentioned I was craving her homemade cinnamon rolls and she said they were selling fast but she would save one for me! The wait was less than 10 minutes and when we were seated, my cinnamon roll was waiting – fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious!
Lori’s Cafe is a hidden gem and we look forward to visiting again soon!

This place is Amazing! We have been here 3 times since we purchased our home nearby. We love it! The food is great but the service and staff are lovely! They are always kind and attentive and Lori herself will sit and chat! This crew is hardworking and the food is great! Keep up the great work!
