What a cozy little gem LORES Cafe is!
We went on a Wednesday morning,
close to 10 AM. Easily accessible off S Elm St, across the DMV parking lot.
We truly enjoyed: an Oat-milk Vanilla Latte, an Iced Chai Latte, and an Earl Grey.
Accompanied by: Mixed Berry Cheesecake, and the Ricotta Pistachio cake (SO GOOD! Delicate, airy, not super sweet).
All of it, kindly served. The young woman serving us was friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. There is a private sitting area towards the back (large sofa, coffee table, bench).
We’ll most definitely be back!

This is now our go to place in Beacon. The cafe is quaint and well decorated. The service is well above and beyond other places. The highlight was the grilled chicken and pesto panini. So good. Dessert was amazing. Homemade baklava. We loved everything about Lores Cafe. Go today and go often.

Tried this cafe out on a whim- it’s easy to miss but I’m so glad I did. I was so impressed with the pastry selection and can’t wait to go back and grab one. I ordered a salad that could have been boring but was anything but. Chicken was perfectly cooked! I’ll definitely be back and have been telling everyone to stop in for a new place in Beacon

I’ve been to Lore’s three times now, and each time I’m somehow more impressed. The coffee is seriously next-level—so rich and flavorful—and don’t even get me started on the desserts. Every treat is delicious and unique. The shop itself is adorable and peaceful, and the staff is just the sweetest.
I honestly debated gatekeeping this place because Beacon has a ton of coffee shops that are always packed, but Lore’s deserves all the love. Being just a little off the main street keeps it from getting overcrowded, which makes it even more of a gem. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, especially when you taste the quality. Definitely a favorite!
I’m really looking forward to trying some of their real food options next—and honestly, I might just head back for a coffee right after writing this!

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up getting lunch- so glad we did! The chicken Caesar wrap and caprese panini were awesome! The coffees were ok, but the food was great! Glad we stopped by

The most beautiful cafe with delicious drinks and an amazing showcase of homemade pastries. I love their paninis and cheese burek. Their salads are also very good. The inside of the cafe is beautifully decorated and cozy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I’m from Newburgh and happily make the drive to Lores Café in Beacon just for their pastries especially the croissants. Truly, they’re the best I’ve ever had in my life! Every bite is perfectly flaky, buttery, and fresh. The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the owner radiates the most beautiful energy so kind, warm, and passionate about what she does. You can feel the love in every detail, from the pastries to the service. It’s absolutely worth the drive every single time. A little gem in Beacon that’s quickly become one of my favorite spots!
