We were visit my parents and they had a Lorenzo’s gift card, so we decided to go there for dinner. I was excited about good Italian food and after watching a few videos on the YouTube about the place my expectation were very high! Unfortunately they fell very short in the quality of the food. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza from the supermarket and the dough had a very strange texture. The pasta were over cooked and my Dad’s fish were completely tasteless. The place is very nice and the staff did a great job but the kitchen drop the ball this time. We would like to give them a second change to see if we had bad luck or if this is the standard for them.

Great food! Fried Calamari to start was tender, crisp, with garlic aioli, I ask for Fra diavolo sauce too and our server gladly brought some, so good! So that influenced me to try the Fra diavolo Shrimp, over angel hair pasta. The sauce was rich and spicy, with tender and flavorful shrimp! So Good!
My husband had the Lorenzo’s Sampler and enjoyed it very much too! We usually stop at Lorenzo’s as we travel to the Cape and this year’s food was amazing, along with our joyful server Tracey she was amazing too!

We went there for lunch on Friday afternoon after seeing their specials on-line. Unfortunately they were Thursday’s. But Joe the bartender said he would check for today’s specials since they weren’t yet published in the menu. The restaurant was full. Joe was very busy making drinks for the entire restaurant, bar tables and the bar besides being the waiter for the bar and bar tables. After serving our drinks, an ice cold Vodka martini and a pint of draft Stella beer, he came back with 3 special suggestions since the kitchen was still working on the rest.
Joe then brought over a paper bag filled with warm fresh bread with butter.
We order the fried calamari- it was cooked perfectly. Nice and crunchy on the outside and so tender on the inside-yum! The accompanying sauce was similar to their Diablo sauce.
I ordered the fried oyster special which came with fries and coleslaw but I up charged it to a side salad and fried zucchini fingers with Parmesan cheese instead. The 19 oysters were so fresh, fried crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect! The salad was fresh, and the zucchini was fresh and tasty.
My husband ordered the surf & turf special. It was a tender piece of rare prime rib w/au jus and 2 good sized baked stuffed shrimp which came with a side of pasta and soup or a salad.
As Joe darted around he kept checking on us, then boxed up our left overs, offered us a dessert menu -which we were too full to get and then gave us our bill.
Everything about the lunch was great, service was outstanding and the prices weren’t too bad.
We would recommend this place to everyone.

Came with a group of 7. The waitress, Amelia, was friendly and efficient. She was really great! All 7 of us liked our food and the prices were reasonable. I’d definitely recommend this place 🙂

This is literally my favorite restaurant! I have been coming here since I was a kid. It’s my mother’s favorite as well. This is one of the only places that has never price gouged it’s customers in the last 10 years like everyone else has. Exceptional food at super reasonable prices. Everything I get no matter what it is is always delicious.

Hands down the best Italian food South of Boston. I have been going here since my parents took me as a child in the early to mid 80’s. Everything is always great and exceeds expectations every time. It’s now been passed down to my son, as we have taken him here since he was young as well. Now he is an adult and is the 3rd generation in our family to enjoy Lorenzo’s. This place just feels like home to us.

This is our second time ordering from Lorenzo’s. The first time the food was disgusting, like it was made days ago and just heated in the microwave.
It’s been about a year later and we figured maybe we just came on a bad day whatever let’s give them one more shot. The food was even worse , microwave old food .
Maybe takeout is different from if you came in and sat down?

My last 2 visits, ordered Italian dishes and both times there was little red sauce on the dish, asked for more sauce, and was charged each time. Why would a business charge extra for red sauce? Increased your prices, so not to disappoint customers. Stop going here, based on this deception.

I had a truly delicious meal at a Chamber event here this week. The eggplant parm with homemade shells was excellent! The gelato was creamy and the perfect ending to lunch!

Street up eating here. Good lasagna, meatballs subs, eggplant fingers, baked shells parmagania, always taste the same which I like. Opened in 50’s.outdoor eating area with live bands during summer. Easy take out and sell some frozen dishes as well. Always good. They sell frozen lasagna, meatballs ravioli chicken piccatta, hick parm. Several choices. Few desserts, the Lemon cake is awesome
